Here’s the other guy initiating it

Expecting some pretty big suspensions.

I hope he gets fired, and the Wisconsin coach didn't initiate anything. He stopped him to try to talk to him, just like what any other coach does in a line at the end of a game.

He did grab him, it looks like Juwan was trying to just ignore him and he either grabbed him to try to talk to him or call him out for ignoring him. I think at least a 1 game suspension isn’t a bad call based on the grab. I can’t think of any setting where grabbing someone who doesn’t want to talk to you is acceptable as professional or personal conduct.

I don’t know if they will fire Juwan. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do, but he does need a legit suspension for a few games. He’s supposed to lead those young men by example, and outside of something that was outrageous there aren’t a lot of excuses for that behavior. Also, since we don’t know what that assistant said to make Juwan so angry so I don’t want to call for Juwan’s head out of turn. The assistant might of said something that justifiably triggered Juwan

Suspensions definitely need to come down I think for both sides with Juwan getting the majority of it. Both coaches set really bad example today for their players.

We'll find out. I would think that this episode would give them an excuse to do so since this year has been pretty disappointing for Michigan, and absolutely yes, the players are the ones who suffer the most through this all.

The more research Im doing this draft really doesn’t seem as bad as it was made out to be in the lottery range. We should hopefully be able to get a good player still in our likely range. It’s after the lotto where the talent drops off

He looks like a Donovan Mitchell clone with his game and his measurables.

The only difference I see is Spida's jumper was a little smoother to translate more easily to the next level. Ivey has some work to do with that lower release to be able to get that shot off consistently off the dribble at the next level.

He would be perfect on the Knicks. Its really a shame we dont have a chance. Guess Knicks just need to keep losing anyway for whatever odds increase we can get

Yeah I doubt the knicks get lucky but at least with these lottery odds if you are in the 7-8 range you have a much better chance moving up then under the old system.

Ivey jumper is mechanical but IDGAF!!!!

I’d draft this kid and run… give him the keys and let him be a playmaking lead guard. He like a young Westbrook (not gonna let y’all brainwash me into thinking that’s a bad thing either).

If we can walk out of this draft with the lottery gods allowing us to jump up and land this kid, or Chet we’d fix all the things we fucced up on over the years.

If we stand pat, the pick is TyTy.

I love Chet but I Can’t get pass his body frame lol Or id probably have him as lock for Number 1 because the talent is there. Check out 0:08, a kid from Pepperdine can body him in the paint like that? :o he doesn’t have upper or lower body strength

Don’t overthink this fam

Well we do have a chance...Thibs will do everything in his power to reduce that chance...but there is a small bit of hope.

Once again Gard had no right to grab Juwan’s arm and try to make Juwan try to talk to him. I got to reiterate this question again, what job or even personal interaction, can you grab the arm of someone you are barely an acquaintance with to make them talk to you and it’s seen as acceptable behavior?

Gard deserves at least a 1 game suspension for not keeping his hands to himself and initiating the conflict. Juwan deserves a multiple game suspension and even him being fired is acceptable.

Juwan being salty prior shouldn’t be a significant factor in the whole thing. Their actions all went beyond the norm.

I’d have to see how Gard touched him. Also, he didn’t slap at Gard. He hit the assistant coach who ran into the scrum, as understand it.

As for Juwan, there was no reason to be full court pressing with your starters against the opposing team’s scrubs at the end of a blow out loss.

If we end up with pick 7-8, any chance we package IQ, #8 , Burks and 2023 NY 1st (protected top 14) to get Murray ?

Spurs look to want to rebuild, I’m just not sure what he’s worth to them .

No thanks, the Spurs are going to be in the lottery with Murray, they had DeRozan last year who looks like a new man not playing with Murray. Why give up 2 picks for someone who posts nice stats but doesn't impact winning in any way?

He grabs his arm and positions himself to stop Juwan from just going past him. Also I agree which is why Juwan should be suspended longer and potentially fired.

Also I don’t think the motive behind the incident matters. Both Juwan and Gard made a basketball issue into a problematic situation that escalated quickly and embarrassed both of them.

**** talking doesn’t give another coach a right to grab your arm and impede your way. Coaches **** talk all the time and don’t touch each other while doing it. Based on your logic the assistant coach bears some fault for Juwan slapping him by saying something to him.
