I think there is a direct correlation between this action and Thib's hangdog demeanor and weird beard.

all we really have on this board is our little factions and the in-fighting between them. it's not like we have a team that is meaningful in any way to talk about.

Cam Reddish had one game where he never passed and couldn’t miss the shots he took and people are ready to anoint him.

How do people live game by game like this? Do you also live your life like this? Everything is a huge event until the next day’s event?

The only thing Cam Reddish playing well last night did is expose how the Knicks do not have any players with that type of athleticism (other than Obi) who can make an impact in the modern NBA and players who lack creativity on offense due to their many deficiencies, including playmaking and court vision. This team continues to be built and play like early 2000’s basketball. Half court basketball, lack of shooting, lack of quickness and athleticism, etc. This team will have the same type of season as last year. Look great against the bottom feeders and lose, for the most part, against good teams.

It's the Balkanization of the Knicks.

Other teams get good players FROM the Balkans to play on their NBA teams.

Knick fans just simulate the historical politics

He looks like an elite talent in those game highlights. The length, the athleticism, the moves, the fluidity, he has a lot going for him, but you just can't rely on him.

In terms of pure talent he's up there with Rose and Randle. But the end product is rarely there.

Cam thinks he’s MJ. But he’s not even Alec Burks. He rarely passes the ball and is always looking to force up shots. Sometimes it works out, it did last night. That airball heave in overtime is more who he is than the rest of the game. I’m glad he had a good game and gave people a glimmer of hope but I’m not a buyer unless he can string together several games of that.

His game is akin to a lead scoring wing....similar to someone like Levine. So I don't think its the end of the world that he doesn't have more of a passing mindset...especially since last night he did other things like rebound... and he had 3 steals too.

You're not wrong that Grimes should start. Or maybe Cam. Just to balance the defense next to Brunson.

Even though Fournier theoretically a good shooter, I just don't think he's a dagger, to justify the lack of defense.
I go back and forth on it, but I'm all for him being the next Burks, minus the PG play.

FrozenEnvelope wrote:Not even mad. Actually feel pretty good tbh. We came back down 19 on the road and took that team to OT and had chances to steal it. That was a clear foul and goaltend by Ja on Brunson but the zebras are never going to call that. I was shocked they even called that offensive foul on Ja when he charged into Brunson right before the Reddish 3. But very encouraged what I saw from Reddish, Hartenstein, Randle, Brunson and Thibs.

Reddish has to be in the rotation. He gives us a dimension and skillset on the wing nobody else on this roster can. Kudos to Thibs for staying with him in the 4th and drawing up that beautiful play for him to tie the game and send it into OT!

RJ couldn't buy a bucket but he will be fine.

Antman shot 7/20, Dame shot 5/18 and Trae shot 7/22 last night. Bad shooting games happen. To make judgements on a player on one game is foolish. Some of you are an embarrassment to this board, all Knicks fans and even all humanity and I'd shot you all in the foot with KnixtapeH20's gun if I could. :x

We from NYC lmaooo I can't be the only one who stayed toasty... Put it this way you'd be hard pressed tryna find someone that didn't have a ratchet. The amount of illegals, ghosts, throw aways still floating around will never change unless the gov seizes all the guns... They'd love that

Thank God not everyone is a sheep

I feel like you're having too much fun today, and haven't addressed the Hartenstein allegations. The whispers were that he'd be closing games late, which was laughed at in the preseason. Game 1 and that proud black man had you on the back foot.
