If OG didnt get hurt last year, would have given Indiana the beats in 5/6 last season.

We would have swept them.

What a win ! I wasn’t a big fan of the over switching. Esp didn’t like the Brunson show and run away. Gave up way too many clean looks. We need to clean that up to win this series but wow

When JB has that ball with 4 - 4:30 minutes left to play
There are only two other players he reminds me of
MJ, and Kobe…. That’s it… His mamba mentality, He is a GOD when the game is in crunch time

The second one w Tatum junking into him and the third with brown driving with no contact was unreal, we got this though. We coming back home up 2-0, that 4-0 reg season record going to save them, they can hang that banner, losers

You have to treat OG as our third option and keep him in the offensive mix throughout the game.

You do that and his two-way impact is gigantic, bigger than anybody on either team.

Nobody is more disruptive defensively than OG. The differentials when he scores 20+ are incredible.

Keep the man happy, Feed him

I still can’t believe Mikal played 51 minutes and ending the game by taking the ball from Brown. That’s special!

We need to keep the same energy!
Kat needs to Stop fouling (as Antman would tell him)
Mitch needs to shoot free throws as much as he can.
We do this -we win the series.
Hopefully losing those home games sharped our guys.

You know-when we played the Pistons-I thought to myself
The assault by the position compounded by the silent whistle was the worst throughout the playoffs. It clearly
Helped us. Game two will decided if this will be 6/7.
Hopefully we beat them again.

Boston was not creative on offense most of the game. Jrue is not doing anything special. They jacked shots mostly.

They won't shoot 25% from three every game, but they also won't shoot 70 times from three either.

We need to stay aggressive at the POA so they have less time to set or have to fight to get past the perimeter.

They're going to respond with greater pace. We can expect them to blitz us harder on defense to see if they can create turnovers and fast breaks, because they didn't do it enough tonight.

If they do any defensive stunting or a high zone when we bring it up we need to always have one guy ready to sprint up to the ball handler so we don't get trapped. Hart is often the guy who will do that for Brunson, but it could be anyone.

If we keep our cool and break any pressing by them and get easy buckets as result it will break their spirit.

They need to push the pace now to recapture control of games and if we don't lose our cool and counter with solid defense, they will lapse back into chucking threes again. I'd rather they try to beat us that way as long as we don't give them too many open looks from deep, but contest 80% of them well.

I’m watching the msg post game right now…
They were down 20- I didn’t we would come back -I thought we looked better than I thought we would and that the loss would be on Kat for fouling. This team truly believes and doesn’t quit till it’s over. Wow!

Yeah…can the knicks come out and meet their energy…
I hope they do it. I did notice they were night and day in guarding the 3 unlike the regular season.
I feel confident about this series.

As frustrating as it has been at times, this team has played a TON of close games. They know how to win those games and they have seen what has lost them games in those situations. Other teams we may play like Boston may not have as many games close games played as we have

If it’s a one or two possession game in the last 3-5 mins in the game, I like our chances
