Spo is a pretty interesting idea. Whoft knows why he would want to move physically from Miami to suffer the NYC climate, but .... w/e
However, I do think the Knicks are a much more interesting prospect for him coaching-wise than Miami.
Our climate has significantly change over the past 10 years. We now have a Virginia climate. Our Winters barely have snow now bc its mostly over 32 degrees most of the winter. Our Summers are still hot but our 100% humidity days we use to get in 90s 00s are gone. Global warming changed nyc for the better so much except for these flash rain we get once in a while now. Spo can handle it lol
Also Miami will be under water in 30 years lol Spo dont want his kids living there
Sounds great. Haven't been in NYC this century. If the humidity in the summer is less than when I used to have to go down to the bodega and perch over the ice-box freezers at night and in the winter not have to tramp through 4 foot snowfalls then go go go

Nah, $30 million to do nothing is the dream, I'm incapable of feeling any remorse or empathy for someone with that much money who gets to wake up and can fly to Fiji on a whim if they want. He should just go coach college, that is more suited to him if we're being honest.
It's too late Guan0, even if I come crashing down I'll be up higher than I was when this all started. I'll also alert the authorities now, the new RealGM protects monsters such as myself that know how to read the laws.

I feel ya. Its hard to feel empathy for people that aren't getting wrecked by capitalism.
You got me worried.... what is this new realgm sht. Ive been sporadic around here since we got bounced. Did our boy meLo get got?
It's impossible for me to feel bad for any coach that's paid and got fired.

You gotta read the sticky threads Guano, I see them and read them, just so I can understand how close I can get to the line without going over. I assume he had too many parole violations.

Im cooked
Or I gotta ride this summer out in mountains and come back when its more toxic

don't know if it's the best choice but nothing will make me happier. lot of people in the know credit their success this year to him.
Charles Oakley was already feeling like an outcast over his former teammates being employed and celebrated in MSG whenever they attended the games, he might burn MSG down if JVG ends up being the head coach.

Did he win us a championship? No? Then **** him and his archaic dictatorship. Overworked players, refused to play more than 7 players, all that passion for his job and it didn’t correlate to any rings. **** him goodbye!
You're entitled to feel this way.
All of your criticism reflects my own. I just looked at Tom as a human being regardless of the fact that this had to happen to get the team to the next step.
Right. Like, I can comfortably say that the two of us would have made the same decision but it's still a tough decision.
Absolutely.
I look at it this way too, because I saw some folks bring up the fact that Tom is getting paid 30m to leave. It's a valid point. Tom will live the rest of his life with no worries.
Right now I am making more money than I ever thought I'd make in my life. I had to bust my ass to get here. I'm able to support my family in this messed up economy. I'm living quite comfortably and God willing I can do this for awhile. I don't take anything for granted. Maybe except my remaining brain cells, but that's another story.
But there are many days where I feel down and wish that I was doing the things that I have actual passion for. It damn sure isn't this.
So to see Tom lose his passion...I feel for him. I can put myself in his shoes and imagine how devastating this is for him, regardless of how I felt about his job performance.
That's all I'm trying to say. Dude is still a human being despite coaching and the golden parachute

If you listen to enough podcasts, there was definitely a lot of "He remembered he had a bench" going on, and you heard it on broadcasts too.
I think the nail in his coffin was how the bench didn't play all season, then he just hurls them into the game when we're down 2-0, and it actually helped.
Probably. But the real nail in the coffin was Game 1. I think he'd still be coaching on Thursday.
They're connected. If he plays the bench, we win G1.

Even he changed his tone late in the season at least as far as accepting the possibility/probability Thibs was going to be fired. But yea he was a die hard defender all season.
I doubt he expected it after going to the ECF though.

When you put it like that, we need to immediately put his jersey in the rafters. Even if he's traded, the amount of change KAT has brought about has been legendary, thank you big bodega.
you love melo. you need to stop. that's your best friend on here
My father is the only man on this planet that I love.

Who is meLo? Sorry, you won't get me to engage in beef outside of Hamsterdam too.

It’s pretty simple to me to. Last year we lost to the pacers in 7 with a depleted roster. We went all in and lost to them in 6. He learned nothing or made any changes from the last series that helped winning
