OG was out and I think Brown wanted to run the bench rotation a certain way so he elevated the 3rd string SF to starter.

I guess get a feel for subbing in Hart, Deuce, Clarkson and Yabu when Mitch starts.

Since Brogdon, Huk etc didn’t get any burn until the 3rd

I think even Shamet played in the 2nd q

I suspected Garrison Matthews could beat out Landry Shamet.

Matthews is taller and has a better wingspan than Shamet.

The only thing Shamet has is that he has played on more winning teams while Matthews has never played on a team with a winning record in his entire NBA career.

just watched the first half.
couple quick thoughts that I had:

- dunno if Brogdon has anything left in the tank. if so, its nice to have Clarkson OR him at the floor with the second unit. But I don't like both. Takes too much away from Deuce and the defense.
- why does Hart get his finger fixed next summer and not now? just miss a couple of more or less meaningless Regular Season Basketball but be a 100% come playoff Time.

Brogdon absolutely has something left in the tank.

I think his role should be backing up Brunson for 10-15 mpg
Deuce starting clears the logjam

Brunson/Brogdon
Deuce/Clarkson
Bridges/Hart
OG/Yabu
KAT/Mitch

Situational, injury, foul trouble: Huk, Shamet or Matthews (if Knicks move Kolek or Dadiet)

If Mitch or Hart starts, that clouds things.
And there is a case for either of them starting. Or both.

Brogdon is good but he only plays 35 games, if we needed to cut one I’d cut him because he misses a majority of the games with injury.

Just like with Mitch, the idea is that they are available the last 10-20 games of the season to get in game shape, and then the post season.

We all know Mitch isn't playing more than 50 games. If that much.

Actually I heard Garrison is pretty bad defensively.

Not going to lie we need a Novak type on the team. His advanced shooting numbers are insane. If we are hunting corner 3s again that’s his strength as well as OG and Bridges.

He's not going to beat out Landry because of defense. He's not going to play over any of our other wings.
