I knew it was bad... but freezing that shot makes it look 100x worse.

Happened on numerous occasions. Guy is showing his true colors.

EDIT: Also see if they have the one at the end of the 4th where Shump had a whole side of the court to himself.

Can't say he didn't see Fields either, was looking right at him. guess Karl knows him well and that's why he sent 3 guys...

Do you think Melo would still play like that if we had legitimate shooters on the wing though?

Not saying he's doing the right thing by going 3 on 1, you should always pass the ball to force the defense to react...but obviously he just does not trust those two guys and in some ways he is justified.

the game is tied, the worst that can happen is overtime.

Marbury ripping Pringles tonight on Twitter:

"they need one more basketball and a new coach."

"Melo is not a DPHONY type of GUY."

"he doesn't have a system. Just play is his system. 5 years of hood winking"

Re: Melo being a selfish player, that is determined by individual opinions. But I can say that he's not a selfish person, far from it. Can we stop attacking players off the court unless it's justified. Along with their family, that's just uncalled for.

Ya lets pass it to Landry Fields... the same guy who can't hit a 3 pointer to save his life this season.. when Melo hit a game tying bucket to end the 4th.. sorry but I'd rather the turnover then letting Fields brick a shot and leaving more then the 0.3 that Melo's turnover left.

In the final sum, I believe Turk will have the significantly better career. He is the better player.

I want to be gracious because tonight the Melo detractors and Gallo supporters look great, admittedly, but I'm not inclined to take Gallo's 18 FTs as solid evidence that Gallo is headed to the HOF. If he averages 20 PPG in any season, I'll admit that I was wrong. Until then, I don't believe Gallon has the stuff to be a standout NBA impact player. I might be proven wrong but I think Gallo's talent and NBA game are not going to be proven very good in the long run and 15 up and down games have not moved the needle much for me ... But he is having his best season and getting a little better.

That play that melo send game to overtime was his play he had to take that shot i don't thing toney douglas or shumpert could have send this game into overtime he is our max player that what he is suppose to do. If somebody else took this shot like douglas or shumpert and missed it we would be blasting them if they didn't make that shot either so it works both ways.

come on now, 3 v 1 while 2 wings are open for the three?

i think any professional nba player has good chance of hitting a wide open shot.

Thank you. I actually thought this one from earlier was funnier.

if he passed the ball to shumpert it would've been a 3 point, which would've resulted in the knicks winning the game by 1 point
