I still wonder why WWE has the most likeable woman on that roster (the only one fans actually care about) playing a heel while the most unlikeable women are playing face. Well I do know why, because of that reality show total divas, but it's pretty stupid.

Re: OT: The WWE Thread
I still think Punk leaving is a work. Maybe he's injured and they're using this as a storyline of his hatred towards WWE management and the authority until he returns. I mean seriously, with the biggest WWE event coming up I'm sure they would have done something to cater to his needs to stop him from leaving. Especially with everyone wanting to see Austin vs Punk this year.
Around this time every year there's always a lot of buzz and fake rumors floating around. A few of what I've heard, Sting recreating a WCW rebel group with Big Show, Booker, Flair to take on Vince. Hogan and Cena tag teaming against the real americans, winner getting the rights to Hogan's "Real American" theme music. I mean there's so many ridiculous rumors floating around that I don't know what to believe, and just need to sit back and watch as it happens.

CM Punk leaving sucks.
It's like when Stone Cold left in 2002.
Understandable why he left.
The re-writes during the show is ridiculous. All of these re-writes each week is killing storylines momentum.
Treating fans like they can just forget about things that happen 2 weeks prior.

Arsenio is the man for having Austin on his show.
Stone Cold is the greatest ever.

Re: OT: The WWE Thread
That interview just showed me that CM Punk leaving is a work.
Austin have been pretty close to behind the scenes at WWE lately, since the network's launch announcement.
He said all the right things.
Seems like Vince will hire CM Punk back & give him some support, officially starting the Vince vs HHH storyline of "position of power". Vince turns face (maybe?) & is paired with CM Punk.

WWE is informing fans that CM Punk will not be at their VIP autograph signing during the week of wrestlemania (Ric Flair will be taking his place) and that they can get refunds. I don't think it's a work.

Sucks, because one of the reasons i got back to watching wrestling was because of Punk. Let's see how it plays out, maybe Vince can convince Punk to comeback in time for WM.

Which cities are hosting Raw these next few weeks? If it's a big city than fans will s*** on them. They will just yell out "Daniel Bryan" and "CM Punk" all night. I actually feel bad for some of the guys on the roster because right now no one gives a damn about them, even the big names (Cena, Orton, Lesnar, Batista) WWE has really screwed up and they're forcing their fans to cheer for guys they don't like

I don't know if he does have regrets. I think he's more than maximized what he originally thought was the earning potential on guys like Bryan and Punk. I doubt you're seeing as much of a return on expensive part time guys like Lesnar who for as much money as they bring in, they cost way more to sign in the first place.
If it's not a work, I really hope they turn it into one. It would be hard to watch the WWE without CM Punk. Hopefully it could mean that guys like Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes get thrust into bigger roles. Very few guys like Punk who have the impeccable ring work to match the mic skills and overall personality.

That's a good point. But now they're **** up his original plans. Vince values controlling the crowd, and the next few months are going to be mighty interesting.

If they give a legitimate push to Roman Reigns, that could lessen the blow of losing CM Punk. What Roman Reigns has going for him is that he has the support of both the casual wrestling fan and a good portion of the internet wrestling community as well. He also fits the "larger than life" idea.

Yeah, he's the key. They've actually done a great job of building new stars. Problem is, past business makes them feel like guys like Batista should main event, and the investment in Orton, together, have combined to cause the backlash from the crowd.

I would hope that they don't push Reigns to the moon. I think he needs a moderate push. Although being away from WWE for about 4 years, I don't really know how long should a star be built up? 1 year? 2? Don't know tbh
It's just that I wouldn't want the IWC to turn on the guy and declare him a failed project when a few months ago they were saying that "he has a great look" or "his skillset looks badass". I think he has a great look too and I love his Superman punch. But I'd put him in the upper midcard just to be safe. Have him develop his ring psychology and mic work before being in big matches with big stars

Dolph Ziggler cut one hell of a pipe bomb that aired on the WWE App during Smackdown's broadcast last night.

Hopefully he gets the push he been deserved.
One of my tops.
CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler & Bray Wyatt. Entertainment at it's best.
