Sigh I was just reminded we still have Kuzminskas.

My summer fun time is officially over.

Bad News Kuz brings up an interesting thought experiment about salaries: Would you rather have Timmy or 6 Kuzminskases?

Good point, it doesn't seem like Kuz is even playing the sport. He looks more like he's a guy trying a carnival game.

  Happy birthday KP tbh.
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

bs Melo did not ignore KP, he got his touches as did Melo. Rose, yes, he did constantly ignore KP AND everyone else on the squad as well. Its Not KP and the Knicks, its the New York Knicks. If he was less passive and called for the damn ball like a G, he'd get even more touches. I like KP as much as the next but if your acting like Melo froze him out, I call that bull

He's talking about defensively, not offensively

I think he's trying to say something about how KP looks worse defensively because Melo and Rose would switch the PnR?

still doesn't make sense because the entire team does it including KP. They have been doing it (switching) for years now. He'll switch on the perimeter just like everyone else does. Hopefully with the new focus on defense, guys will be held accountable for guarding their own man.

was wondering the same thing. Sure he needs to get stronger but, I liked what I saw from his as a Rook. Was actually better than I thought and I like that Kuz will at least take it to the rim and try to dunk on someone.

He's like 28. His jumper is not good, he's weak, he's also kind of a chucker. He's not an NBA player.

yeah. he was living off hitting 3s and once he got cold from there you couldn't even play him anymore.

seemed like his jumper was good to me. I did admit he needs to get stronger but, so do a lot of NBA rooks. So does KP! Not sure where your getting the chucker thing from. dude took shots within the offense. How does that make him a chucker? We can just agree to disagree on him and keep it moving, we're too far apart to come to a consensus.

how many rooks stay how late in the season? Maybe he hit the wall but, I don't seem to remember his shot really falling off.....I might need to go re-watch the games (since I record them)

Kuz is allright but based on age he is not likely to improve much. May be a bit better as adjusted to NBA game but he isn't going to learn many new skills at this point. I expect a slight improvement from last season based on adjustment I mentioned, which makes him a 9-10 man worthy of spot minutes.

I think inconsistent minutes are tough for any "rookie" no matter how old he is. Im sure he was never use to playing in two games then sitting 3 straight games. Or playing 20 minutes one game then 8 minutes the next. It's tough to get a rhythm...he needs to get better at shooting in his limited role or KG is right he probably will eventually be out of the NBA...but lets see if there is progress next year first

I almost always withhold my judgements on Rooks until they are well into their 2nd year. Not only was he a rook but a foreign one at that....you can't discount the adjustment. Some handle it better than others.
