Yeah this how I feel at this point. You probably never get plus defense or plus playmaking from him. If he's getting buckets consistently? Great! you can play him 25-30 mpg if not, then probably a lower end rotation player who you play hoping to catch fire.

This is true. But it would be really bad if he wasn't Shveding it up now.

A lot of folks down on the kid. He’s going to be nice. People swear we are not talented.

I know he’s working on stamina and skills I hope to see him get bigger too.

I've read No mental capacity, No DESIRE to improve, low potential..... yada yada yada. I see a TEENAGER FOCUSED on getting better. In the gym with the coaches as opposed to playing pickup games or just plain relaxing. I don't get the hate on Knox

Kevin's issue isnt talent. It's never been. If you just look at "performable moves" and his form it's obvious hes got talent.

Knox issue is effort and demeanor. You know when you play 2k and they have a toggle for hustle and another for intangibles. Well his might be at 20. The kid will always be able to show out in a video and gym workout but he needs to grind, to hustle. To not drop his head after every miss and keep it there while his assignment races down the court past him.

He has poor habits which is very surprising considering his former nfl father. If he wants to put in any work this summer he should start there......and start gradually adding muscle because hes probably more of a SF/PF than a wing. Doesnt have to happen in one offseason but getting stronger wouldn't hurt even now at SF. But more importantly, none of that matters if hed gonna have Tim Thomas syndrome and TT was more talented.

Why's it gotta be a white guy standing at about 5'4" that's guarding him? Put a real defender on his azz and someone at least his size.

His game did improve the last 6 weeks or so in the season. His efficiency went up but he had a very tough rookie season from an advanced metric standpoint. His RPM was one of the worst in the entire league which is cumbersome given he was a starter that played heavy minutes.

But he's such a young kid and has the size and frame to be a problem in this league if he keeps working on every facet of his game. He has a versatile game he just needs to start fine-tuning every aspect- from 3 point shooting, FT shooting, post game, etc. I didn't like the fact he settled way too much from the perimeter when we saw flashes of his athletic ability and what he could do when taking the ball into the paint. I believe if he gets a bit faster and continues filling out, that facet to his game should be more dominant.

He does have the type of game where he'll probably start living at the FT line. I just want to see his #'s steadily improve from an efficiency standpoint and I want to see him improve in any aspect defensively. He should be a lot better on that end given his size and wingspan. Anyway he's still a baby and he did have a Rookie of the Month award as well as playing much better in the latter part of the season.

What weights were too heavy? He seemed to be doing the exercises fine to my eyes.

Knox already has one the most indefensible shots with his floater. When he puts his game together he's going to have plenty of 30 point games. Doesn't mean he'll be as consistent as fans want him to be, but the talent is there to erupt on any given night. Patience
