Judging by last year and the restart exhibition games, Deivi is not ready. He got hit like crazy in AAA and Schmidt hasn't pitched in AAA and has only pitched 3 times in Trenton.

Give me bullpen games then.

Make them long relivers, they suck as starters.

Juan Marichal once pitched a 16 inning complete game. And now we have reliever games.

Tauchman is definitely the better option in left and as we just saw, as a pinch runner.

DJ needs to be extended like months ago.

Judge is that dude.

I don't give a damn if the Red Sox are in a rebuild. It still feels good to sweep them.

Regarding Paxton...yeah I would not be rushing to bring him back for next season.

Seeing Judge smoke a hanging meatball brings me back to 2017 vibs. Especially coming from a guy like Matt Barnes (well DUH  )

All Barnes does is throw curveballs and he thought he could do it again against Judge. The Sox are a mess and probably will be for another year.

Yanks pitching might be a cause for concern, but it's too early and this shortened season changes everything. Bit concerned with the Big Maple.

Yeah if Schmidt can make the jump that would be great. Same with Montgomery if he can look like his rookie season.

Tanaka maybe back on a short term higher dollar per deal since you know he can pitch here especially come playoff time.

Maybe trade Frazier and Garcia to the Rockies for Jon Gray.

Severino (hopefully) will be back.

Yeah I want the Yanks to cash out on some of these prospects. Ideally you trade Clint, but I also wonder if they should pull the plug on Florial. I don't know if he's worth the wait, especially once Brett retires. I have forcing Clint to wait this long though.

I'd probably also trade Miggy because LF is just not an option for him. I'd like to hold onto Deivi, but I get the appeal for trading him too.

In retrospect, the Paxton trade will probably end up close to a wash. We got an okay year from Paxton last year. I don't think Justus will be a FT starter though.

All of Judge's Hrs this year have tied the game or given the Yanks the lead. That's next level.

Rotation is suspect. Can only trust Cole and Tanaka.

I'd Trade Frazier and Andujar for DeGrom if possible. Might have to give up more smh.

But if the year continues:

Cole
DeGrom
Tanaka
Montgomery

Is a quality Postseason Rotation.

Next year

Cole
DeGrom
Tanaka (Resigned)
Sevy
Montgomery

Jesus Christ another rain delay just give us the win its 6-1 in the 7th. Even when it seems Cole throws a lot of pitches, you see that he has 91 pitches through 6 innings and this is the Phillies lineup.
