The Warriors could end up with 2 lottery picks this season, with Wiseman to throw in as well, if any star of Beal's caliber is up for trade they're getting dibs.

I'm going to contradict myself but you're right. Thibs caved to the pressure from the media and the FaNs to remove Payton from the starting lineup. The same starting lineup we basically had all season, and were successful.
All the posters on this board who were clamoring for a change from Payton, well, you got it.
Such a stupid move. Stick with what got you here. People going insane trying to throw out STUPID stats and analytics claiming how GREAT the Knicks would be if they just stopped starting Payton. We all saw how much that was stopping us from being successful. IT WASNT. So Thibs get's an F- for listening to the media/fans.
Other than that, though, Thibs doesn't play on the court. If your two best players suck up the joint, there's not much you can do as a coach. But I'm sure this PG is gonna be filled with people blaming Thibs.
Problem wasn’t Thibs. It was Payton, not buying in and playing so poorly that Thibs had no choice to make an adjustments. If Payton could have played to just below average with hard defense we could have managed his minutes. But he completely gave up on the team.
Thibs started Rose and played the whole 2nd half in game 2. That’s the only reason we won. He played the most minutes of any of our players this series over Randle. The obvious answer was to put in Frank, but you know Thibs wouldn’t do that. It is what it is
I'm on record saying we should have started Frank. Taking Rose out of the 2nd group literally killed us (besides our franchise player).
That being said, didnt we win 9 in a row with Payton starting?? And it's not about Payton, it's about continuity. Payton sucks.

let's get more talent and not dwell on this L. just isn't our time yet.

We have gibson down low and thats it, even if randle and rj were on, likely wouldnt have matched the hawks fire power .
I aint gonna act like a bitch, Im proud of my team. Now next year if we pull some **** like this im throwing **** under the bus

i don't even need that, i'm just worried we gonna do this same dumb sh*t next year
we are, this team is 100% going to the playoffs next year or at the very least the play in game. no way in hell are they tanking. 0% chance. you know that right? literally 0%

Trading for Rose just show's how shortsighted our front office is. This draft potentially has 5 stars (minimum) in it, and we decide to make a trade so MAYBE we could get past the first round of the playoffs. Such as typical Knicks front office move. We'll miss out on these players, then see them start to bloom as stars in the league... but at least we got completely embarrassed in the first round of the playoffs. It was so great to get that playoff experience!! We can build off of this!! Yeah, okay. As Minnesota adds to their deep talent pool with Ant, and maybe Cade or Suggs, we were happy to get into the first round of the playoffs. Typical Knicks.
5 stars? Lol
Obviously you know nothing about this upcoming draft.

it's actually silly to think we know exactly how many stars are in this draft. you know at least one of those dudes is going to be a bust if not more than one and that's who the knicks would have got. meanwhile there will be some steals later in the draft like there always is in every draft.
Did you see the word 'potentially' in there? And yes, all experts agree (and people with college bball knowledge on here) that this is one of the better drafts in a long time.
Although I do agree that there is ALWAYS a potential for busts. But, we're only talking about the top 5. In my opinion, there are several more players in the draft that have a chance to be really, really good. We'll see what happens. Either way it was a mistake to trade for Rose. Not sure how anyone could argue against that at this point. I'm not saying you are, robil

If Rose leaves we're in the top 10 of the draft.
