Sorry lol had to stop reading there.

He's been eliminated 5x in the 1st round and I'm sorry but the "Grizzlies", "Pelicans" and "Nuggets" are the complete opposite of "greatest teams ever assembled" lol.

Grizzlies = 1st round exit (4-1).
Pelicans = 1st round exit (swept 4-0).
Nuggets = 1st round exit (4-2).

What a joke post you made.

PS: He's absolute ass on Defense and one of the worst defensive Guards to ever play this game he's absolute trash on Defense (understatement).

Let me find out you EVER talked down on Julius Randle during the playoffs against ATL. Please tell me you didn't. Because I'd absolutely dig deep into you if you ever did. Say it ain't so.

Cool if you kept reading you would’ve seen I said or to differentiate vastly superior teams vs the goat teams he played. All those teams were better than Lillard’s Portland squads at the time they played.

The grizzlies during Lillard’s third year (before CJ was a starter and before they got Nurkic), the pelicans series when AD went absolutely nuclear and averaged just under 40 a game. And the Nuggets were considered one of the favorites out west.

Context is everything.

Again I never said anything positive about his defense. Stop putting arguments in my mouth dude. I just pointed out how asinine your argument is.

Also Julius was complete cheeks in the playoffs. Tom and the rest of the team did him no favors, but he was hot doodoo water.

You're right. Context is everything.

And some of you guys are seriously willing to throw away PG Immanuel Quickley (22), SG R.J Barrett (21), PF Obi Toppin (23) and Center Mitchell Robinson (23) along with 5 1st round picks throughout the next 3 years as well as serious salary cap hell etc

and all for what? A 31 year old PG with 8 playoffs eliminations and 5 1st round exits who's absolutely ass on DEFENSE?!?

Ok.

The only way I'm willing to trade for Dame is if it's the KNICKS who ripoff Portland and not the other way around.

I'm not willing to watch Portland take advantage of us when it's THEIR PLAYER who wants OUT.

• Frank Ntilikina (8th overall).
• Kevin Knox (9th overall).
• Elfrid Payton (10th overall).
• Luca Vildoza (overseas prospect).
• 5 1st round picks over next 3 years (yes, all freaking 5 of them).

And if Portland isn't willing to accept that, for a player who wants out? Well then guess what? They can lose him for absolutely nothingness for all I care (come his Free Agency 2025 @ 35 years old).

C: Mitchell Robinson.
PF: Julius Randle.
SF: Kawhi Leonard.
SG: R.J Barrett.
PG: Dame Lillard.

Bench:
6th man: Derrick Rose
C: Nerlens Noel.
PF: Obi Toppin.
SF: Reggie Bullock.
SG: Alec Burks.
PG: Immanuel Quickley..

Take it or leave it Portland because I'm not willing to watch my Knicks get taken advantage while you rape us all because of a 31 year old who doesn't want to play for YOU anyone. Either you get taken advantage of by NY or you lose him for absolutely nothingness.

But RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, Obi Toppin and Mitchell Robinson and Julius Randle are all off limits and untouchable.

If you can get a Dame and Kawhi caliber player to go with Julius Randle you’ve already won.. filling out the rest of the team is the east part.. acquiring guys of that magnitude is the hardest part

Bingo. This model has won for a bunch of teams. Filling out the roster with role players and vet mins confuses a lot of people here. You can win with them filling out the roster. A number of teams have done this with success in todays NBA once they secure 2 or 3- 30 million dollar plus players.

With Paul George’s performance this year... why wouldn’t the clippers heap up and run it again? They have a lot to pull from to say that their roster can work

Come on. Fill in the blanks...

You can't, can you?

PS: And what happens when one of either Dame/Kawhi/Randle get hurt? What, a two team player basketball "team" with absolute crap everywhere else?

Brooklyn. Where Brooklyn at?!?

PS: Kyrie/Harden/K.D = still better than Dame/Kawhi/Randle so it'll be ALL FOR NOT.

Do you know what the word degenerative means? It becomes unusable over time. Since 2017, that knee has deteriorated beyond repair.

Hard pass.

The Kawhi thread has an article stating what the condition most likely is. The tendonopithy is not likely in stage 3 which would be the degenerative phase of the condition. If load managed properly there is belief that he can still be effective. This is a question likely better and more thoroughly answered by his New York doctors who have treated him in the past. Suffice to say Kawhi on a shorter deal may be a risk Knicks feel worth taking.

This will probably be Kawhii's last big deal and he's not taking any shorts. He's a free agent next year, let's see what Kawhii looks like in the 2021-22 season before offering another short-sighted Amar'e Stoudemire type deal.

Again hard pass.

Honestly I'm good with getting Dame or staying with our young talent. More than anyone i just dont want to trade Mitch or IQ. Something about where quick came from, his parents, upbringing and coaching direction makes me think this kid is way more than just a sixth man Lou Williams clone.

Mitch just my favorite player that's barely scratched the surface of his potential.

Think RJ can be a great player but Dame is one of my favorite players in the league and would be a dream to get him in a Knicks jersey.

Honestly I'm torn... I trust this new management. We'll see.

Yes,yes he was....

Bryant started coaching at the Bryant Sports Academy, a skill development program through which he worked with athletes of all ages, including former Utah Jazz forward Paul Millsap.[4]

On September 25, 2012, Bryant was hired by the Utah Jazz as a player development assistant.[4] On June 24, 2014, he was promoted to assistant coach under head coach Quin Snyder.[5]

On September 4, 2020, Bryant was named the associate head coach of the New York Knicks.[6]

Throughout LeBron's first 8 Olympic games of 2004 (combined)

92 minutes played.

43 points.
13 assists.
8 rebounds.
9 turnovers.
19/32 (FG percentage of .593%).

Vs.

Throughout R.J's first 2 Olympic games of 2021 (combined)

56 minutes played.

38 points.
8 assists.
8 rebounds.
3 turnovers.
9/15 (FG percentage of .600%).

R.J Barrett has played 36 fewer minutes than LeBron did but yet already has him tied in Rebounds (8 vs 8) and has also taken 17 fewer shots than LeBron did; but yet only trails him by 5 points (with another 36 minutes remaining to pass him in points scored).

R.J Barrett is absolutely DESTROYING Le'Bron's 1st Olympics run!

Just curious where have you seen that the knicks are willing to give up that much in the first place..that’s way more than the nets gave up for harden..they are in no way giving up all they young players and draft picks. What’s sad is people downplaying how incredible a player lillard is, and what a tremendous point guard would do for this franchise. I get being hesitant of going all in on For him, but not appreciating his greatness is just foolish
