So do we wait the full two hours even if the GM has there pick ready right away? I'm not talking about Bish if he is busy with life. But talking like Detroit right now. If they are ready could make the 12-2 and 2-4 picks. Then Utah could in theory make their pick anytime between then and 6 PM. It could not hurt Utah since their slot would not change. But it could be a bonus for everyone by speeding things up here and there.

If we do wait the full two hours for no reason other than to wait, this may need to be rethought.

you can always make your pick before hand and usually we do. We are already ahead of the time slots.

But the time slots don't change for the people that are away and know they wont be skipped until there timeslot

100% agree. Hands down highest scoring potential I don't think anyone will deny that. Other factors to the game and sim though. I love the 2-way potential of Suggs. Maybe not the PPG guy that ***** is but lot of other factors.

Suggs is my favorite even though he might not be the best player to come out the draft he's been my favorite from the group since the beginning. But for Context who already has Lamelo to have that guy fall to him at 4, sheesh!

I agree he's going to get him at #5 too because he has b2b picks so even get the more favorable extension for a guy that could easily go down as the best player in the class.

I was in a different situation though. I was the only playoff team picking in the top 4. I have Curry already along with RJ/MPJ so I am not in dire need of a 20 PPG scorer. My concern was my window for winning is the next 3-4 years. Which player helps me win in that window. Suggs is more versatile in terms of being able to guard the best perimeter player on the floor so I can keep Curry off them. Haliburton is a good help defender but I wouldn't also call him a big time defender. So I wanted a dog, winner...playmaker.

Like you said he may very well not have the ceiling as some of the others especially the guy context will be picking. But for my team in my situation he was the right pick in my eyes. At some point got to make move to go for a championship and not just "collect" assets. I think his bbiq/passing/scoring/driving/defense/steals will play very well in the SIM.

Yeah, we usually get way ahead but you will always have until the end of your slot.

Cool. I am glad teams do not have to wait and the next man/woman up can pick if they want.

gotta see them play first. There was always going to be a really good player that drops to him. Whether that be Suggs/Mobley/*****

LaMelo and him will be a fun duo.

But they still gotta play it on the court. I have read a ton of reports from the USA-U19 team Suggs is that guy you want on your team. Whether he translates to that on the court or not we shall see.

Yup it makes perfect sense. Its not a ton of money for the extension but when you are trying to compete every $$$ matters and if its $10 different its still a nice little value later.

Ingram will be traded this year so get in your offers, ideally it will be for multi contracts. This offseasons free agents/picks that end up being locked into multi year contracts that cannot be traded til January are not off the table, actually may be preferably. and wait this is not TAMPERING...TAMPERING.. wait TAMPERING.
