I got worried a little but never in doubt.
Philly series toughened all of us.
Let's protect home court.
And Brunson is just unreal gift from basketball god.

Tired of the crying about the offensive foul at the end of the game. Even SVG admitted Turner was moving during the screen. So it was a foul. You’re not going to call a foul because of the timing? FOH

The kicked ball call, however, was a lucky ass break. Now we have to worry about the refs “evening things up” in Game 2.

They are all about the kicked ball and illegal screen calls on ESPN. They will not let it go. The kick ball was a bad one but, oh fuggin well. How many decades of bad calls have decided games we lost? Eat a bag of dicks! Knicks win!

Brunson for the most part is unguardable. He just has to many moves to many options and is extremely tough. The guy is a nightmare for opposing teams. At this moment in time Brunson is the best player in the NBA. Can he keep this up? I think he can.

I watched this one before the game as well----it was one of the sloppiest, worst prepared pregame previews in a while:

1. At 1:44 Pierce says he loves Mathurin off the bench.....I was like WTF? So they have a show and he shows up not knowing that Mathurin who was admittedly very good for the Pacers is out for season? I mean how do you miss that?

2. Both of them referred back to the 125-111 Pacer win in the garden where the Knicks were without Mitch, Hartenstein and OG (and obviously Randle). They started Taj Gibson.....I mean why would you take that as a reference?

3. He cites the Pacers defense and grit on Brunson---like...what? Brunson put up 36points per game on 49% shooting and got to the FT line at will in the regular season shot 30 FTs in 3 games......like WTF is Pierce talking about? The Pacers have no answers 1 on 1 for Brunson. Brunson's 43 points and 14 FTs were just business as usual for him against the Pacers, like another day in the office and he really got to all the spots he wanted to. The Sixers defense on Brunson was much tougher....I have rarely seen such a bad take by a commentator or ex-player pregame. It was like they were not familiar with the personnel of both teams at all and didn't even bother to look at regular season box scores for reference.

Extremely sloppy and unprepared.

IM 100% certain pierce was drunk or high in that segment. it wouldnt be the first time for him to be wasted on national tv.

he got fired from espn becasue they didnt wanna deal with it anymore. i really enjoyed undisputed with shannon, solely for entertainment reason obviously. but this show has fallen ooooofff, with his departure.

all the fox hosts and sports people only care for the lakers and warriors. they are hopping on the bandwagon just now and need to catch up.
im bout dat action boss

Here’s the thing about our Nova boys. Their championship DNA means they:

A) Will find a way to win; and
B) Legit DGAF which way the zebras go

You didn’t see them lose composure (like the numbnuts posting on this board or the desperate for storylines National tabloid espn machine) when Embiid was allowed to try to inure people. And you don’t see them gloating now about calls that went their way.

Winners will always get more whistles just like men who don’t care will always get more p*ssy. This group is determined to win regardless of which way the whistles blow.

I don't want to say we are taking this run by Brunson for granted but its absolutely insane what he's been doing. 4 straight games with 40 pts...basically playing every minute of a playoff game with all the attention on you with no true #2 option to help shoulder the load.

Its going to go down in history thats how special it is

Interesting there's no talk about the Knicks having to burn what could have been a key timeout because a ref with no angle came in and called the ball off of Brunson that was clearly off Nembhard's leg. But yes the game was RIGGED

Knick fans finally got their version of Larry Bird. That guy getting more out of intelligence and years and years of being a gym rat and student of the game then their physical abilities, which both of course have/had, but aren't among the elite of the NBA at the time.

Like Bird, he developed advantages by thinking through all of the angles and doing endless scenario reps until they become instinctive.

I'm almost done watching my favorite TV series in a long time, The Queen's Gambit, which is a very interesting story about talent and how it is harnessed.

I was thinking about that part this morning. from the moment he touches the ball he is hounded. and then when he gets it pass hc he is doubled. it's relentless pressure with no one else on the roster to provide relief yet he is still putting up numbers that are absurd.

and I'm definitely one that is taking it for granted. he has raised the standard to the point I get annoyed when he misses.

on that note, it's really too bad randle is injured because i'd be all in on our chances if we had him right now.

Quite frankly if it was Steph or Dame doing this we wouldn't hear the end of it but, instead they are talking about refs and Ant Edwards (rightfully so) all over the national media. It's crazy how even though their hand is basically forced to give Brunson credit they still can't find a way to give him his proper due. I mean ESPN seriously printed an article yesterday that said Brunson had less impact in round 1 than Franz Wagner LMAO.

This fanbase gets excited for meaningless things like linsanity and talks about it for decades. Surely we can appreciate the greatest 5 game playoff run by a single player literally of all time right

You've gotta try some Precious.

But the roster situation ain't ideal. We'll have more bodies next season if we run it back. Maybe even Rokas.

When Precious is out there the offense takes a hit then Knicks fans are yelling for players who dont exist. "Where's the shooting?".. uh you mean the starters who are supposed to be getting their rest

I genuinely think we should try burks for 5-8 minutes but ultimately I’m ride or die with Thibs and whatever he wants to do
