This is going to force guys into different roles and the offense by usage is going to change dramatically.
We were surviving on Brunson brilliance. Now other guys have to step up including the coach...no more Brunson crutch to carry the load. We have to be more creative and innovative.
Lets see how all this shakes out but Knicks have a chance to come out better for this going into playoffs with guys getting expanded roles and when Brunson comes back we can hopefully be clicking.
I guess we need to see what the HC does amd exactly how long Brunson is out for. The longer it takes to get the injury report the worse it looks IMO.
I can only imagine Deuce getting the start and we figure it out as we go. That's all I expect from this HC. Plug in a bench player and increase everyone's minutes to makeup for the loss of Jalen. No adjustments. Just keep doing what we were doing and hoping it works.
What are the options really?
Start Deuce/Payne or Kolek.

I could honestly see Thibs pulling Kolek out of the coal mines in Siberia and trying to START him. Only to bail after 4 minutes and never play him again. Sims 2.0.
