Still feels like thibs is playing delon and shamet because he feels obligated to and not because he understands why and when they should play. He’s still playing hart too much and putting together some funky ass lineups.

At least he’s playing some bench guys at all but he has to realize by now what makes them effective vs having Brunson out there.

Nobody on the pacers is an elite shot creator or off the dribble shot maker. You can defend haliburton with someone like shamet because he just isn’t that skilled at creating a shot for himself and if you can stay in front of him and cut off his lanes it’s hard for him to create for others as well. Brunson is too easy to pick on.

And then when it comes to offense we can score on them with any lineup. Scoring will never be the issue. They are abysmal on defense. Honestly tired of hearing people go on about nesmith and nembhart defense on Brunson as if he doesn’t just have his way every game regardless. He had a much harder time against Thompson. These guys on the pacers are just food.

We should’ve swept this series if thibs was more competent.

Did yall know Wright was teammates with Brunson in 2019-2020 on the mavericks. And Carlisle was their coach. Idk i find it interesting. He was a solid player with them and Memphis I used to think and then fell off the map
