Trade Mikal for Kuminga

shhh....no one wants to admit that the ceiling for Kuminga is a lot higher than Mikal + he's not gonna get paid as much

We have about 9.2 million dollars above the second apron right now with 3 roster spots left. We have the tax mle and minimum contracts to spend unless we find a trade a somehow.

1) Shooter (Shamet, hardaway jr, or someone along those lines)
2) Big ( Horford, Lance JR, Yabusele, Boucher)

Is that number accurate? We had 8mil to spend before we dropped Tucker. That put us at about 10mil. We just signed Jordan to a mini. If the cap hit for Clarkson is 2.2mil then we will be back to the 8mil mark again.

Im assuming that number was with the incomplete roster charge already added in.

Currently we have 198.6 tied to salaries. Second apron is 207.8. 11 roster spots full need to get to 14

I think ima revoke my Ayton fan card… I just read this from the athletic. This is disappointing af.

See, the Blazers could live with Ayton missing shots or his man scoring on him. They could even live with him being limited by injuries to 55 and 40 games in his two seasons in Portland.

But in the end, they couldn’t live with his bad ways. The tardiness to team flights and practices, according to a team source. The skipping of rehabilitation appointments. Fans saw him slam chairs when he was taken out of games. And a team source said there were tantrums in the locker room when he was sidelined for poor effort.

But yeah when they bought him out I figured we'd see stuff like this follow. The Blazers are trying to win. They must **** hate him because he _can_ play.

How about Marvin Bagley on a vet min deal? Kind of crazy his career flattened out* 26 years old to play next to Towns or Mitch..
Or Torrey Craig, Trey Lyles, Larry Nance Jr (maybe more than a minimum contract).

Find the vet min big to play off Towns or Mitch in order to bring back Shamet with the $5M. Horford on a minimum would be great.

itll be be interesting to see if they actually use the tax mle or not. If we do use the full exception then i would expect Diawara to get the min 2nd round contract to give the knicks some room to operate int he future. Granted we dont make any trades this offseason>

but then you have 4 spots of 1st/2nd year guys taking up space with limited playing time in hukporti, kolek, dadiet and diawara. I have a feeling some trade for another 3 and D guy is comign with using a couple of the young guys and maybe a sign and traded Achuiwa
