Any suggestions?

Im sure you didnt mean it that way but some of the suggestions are sterotypical. Its like me saying that maybe we should give Shumpert a nickname of Sweet Chitlins or Manly Hamhocks.

maybe it's the teacher in me, but this stood out to me right away as well

Something between Luke Ridnour and Rondo.
The Knicks are back.

He got called D Wade lite, or some even said he was as good or even better than D Wade was as a rookie. I liked Shumperts game today though.

Lin has the potential to be better than Goran Dragic, with similar defensive prowess and good drives to basket but better timing and spacing control/instinct. So, the upside is a cross between Dragic and Nash. :)

The closest game he resembles to me is Rajon Rondo

How Does A Talent Like Lin Not Get Recognized ?

Post#490 » by mildred » Tue Feb 7, 2012 3:27 am

I mean really ? Golden State had him. Houston had him. They both gave him away. The Knicks had him and MD said he wasn't in our plans even though we were starving at the pg position.

It was a fluke that Lin got a shot. If we had just a servicable pg vet I'm certain Lin never woulda got a chance with the Knicks.

So my question ...... how does a talent like Lin go unnoticed by NBA teams ? With all their talent evaluators, their savvy coaches. WTF do these guys do in practice ? Was Lin given a back of the bus seat because he is Asian and not being taken seriously ?

Makes one really wonder ......

Speak for yourself, many were saying Iman's ceiling was Dwayne Wade.

You are a bit off. Both GS and Houston loved him. It's just that both had to cut him in order to get the big men they needed more. People on this board also liked him but were ridiculed for it.

Being an Asian at the guard position didn't help him. Several college coaches said as much.
