Get the f**k out of here. We all saw how the c*ckblocking moved worked out for Toronto. 100% speculation. No matter what the Knicks should take the full 3 days to decide whether to match or not.

Oh my wow my bad. Its fake I posted that immediately after and like 4 times since. I guess I learned my lesson, damn.

Honestly, I enjoyed Linsanity and everything... but I would love it if Morey got stock holding the bag on this  That'll teach teams to screw with us.

Maybe Knicks have something else up sleeve, cuz with Felton and Lin our depth looks too stacked. You can only play with one b'ball...

Gad is non-guaranteed. They waive him and owe him nothing. Blazers would be doing Fatty a favor.

Nah, no way we're keeping Lin if we get Ray, it's not just the money, Felton would sign 3m$ for a year, cause he think, he could play well and then get more money next summer.

Also Prigioni need time.

I don't want Felton either way, if we match Lin or not. I can't think of any scenario where trading for Felton would be a good move.

10 good games? smh. Lin put up 15/7 after Linsanity and now he's worthless on the court while Fatty Felton's the second coming?

Remember that we have only one true SG on the roster (Smith) now with Fields gone... we don't even have a scrub backup SG right now. Smith has always been a 6th man. We don't even have a backup SF other than a guy who has spent a number of years in Europe.

At first glance, Felton means Lin isn't being match. On second thought, if you really break it down, there really isn't a good shooting guard out there in our price range. So instead of signing a scrub, you sign another quality point and go spend a lot of time in two point guard lineups. Plenty of minutes for JR backing up the 2 and the 3 (or starting at the 2 and backing up the 3). Also, Melo is going to play a lot of 4 and you are going to play a lot of smaller lineups anyway.

When you really think about it, getting Felton even with the plan to match Lin makes some sense given the weak SG market. Our second "SG" would be a rotation of our 3 point guards.

Lin put us in a tough position. He deserves most of the freaking blame. Wasn't he and his agent disappointed that the 4th year was a team option?

Jamie O'Grady ‏@LoHudKnicks
Prigioni's US agent, George Bass, told NY Post that his client had accepted the Knicks offer. It has NOT been officially announced.

Maybe we don't finalize the Prigioni deal, get Felton instead.
