What i would of liked to see in that video is how he was on defense in those last 5 minutes of that close game. I'm not worried about his offense at all really, or not like i worry about how he plays on defense especially in the final minutes of a close game.

The entire weakness part of the video is what scares the **** out of me. Kid can't create his own shot driving and is nothing more than a spot up shooter and gets beat like a drum off the dribble and pushed off his spots on D.

I'm scared like hell of this kid and his slight frame.

he's not quick enough to be a 3. he's a 4. but he's the same height as paul george who's quick enough to be a 2. therein lies the problem. that and he'a midrange shooter who is afraid of contact so he tries to rely on floaters near the rim like an undersized guard. people are comparing him to tobias harris favorably ? who the hell would want tobias harris ? the clippers could offer him for free to me and i'd pass unless i could dump a worse contract on them. tobias harris and tim hardaway jr sounds like the kinda medicore team that nightmares are made of.

A 25 year old who averaged 19, 6, 3, 1 stl with 47% fg, 42% 3p, 80% ft with the Clippers? Yea I'll take that.

According to Pelton's data, the value of the 9th + the 36th pick is 88% of the value of the 4th pick. Since Chandler's contract has such significant negative value, one would think that would be sufficient value to get a deal done with Memphis (assuming the other pieces to make the trade work are acceptable to both parties), without having to include a future first-rounder (or Frank, of course).

I don't know, that "highlight" game against WVU doesn't seem too special. He just runs the break a lot, and hits spot up shots. He gets I think 1 rebound in the video, and then goes up weak with the ball, presumably from getting fouled. The fast breaking is not gonna be available for him in the NBA nearly as much. I guess the best takeaway is that he can hit some spot up shots.

Right...for a guy who's supposed to be a 3 & D, that D part as it pertains to anything other than using his impressive length to block shots is kind of over-rated. Couple that with the fact that he can't make a pullup off the dribble or a floater on the run...leaves him with what?

I mean if they want Knox over Mikal, no reason for the Knicks not to leverage their draft position to try and pick up extra picks. Hope Perry/Mills have the foresight to do it. I'm expecting they stand pat at 9 and 36, tho I'd like to see Lee traded (even if just for a 2nd) to free up minutes for Dot

I've said this before but i'll say again that i'm not sold like some are on S.Perry yet cause he hasn't done anything anywhere he's been to tell me he's gonna be able to build this team the right way. If he sits on his hands and doesn't do anything in this draft but make his picks at 9 and 36 then i'm gonna be somewhat disappointed with that, i'm not gonna hate on him especially if he makes good picks but he has money to buy either a late 1st round pick or 2nd round pick, he has guys like C.Lee and a couple other guys that could be traded in this draft and this team is in the position to take on a bad contract up to 2 years to get a draft pick or picks. So while i'm not gonna be mad if we make two good picks at 9 and 36, i will feel like he didn't show anything in his first draft that tells me he knows how to build a rebuilding team. Make some moves and don't just sit on your hands.

I'm with you, I'd like to see some aggressiveness in the later parts of the first round or high second.

I wanna see something from him to show me he's an active GM and can create a trade or buy another pick, not just sit on his hands and see if teams call him. We need all the draft picks and young players we can get right now.
