The problem is that if you rat on your partner on another officer in your squad/precinct, you never get any back up when you need it. It's "The Code"

All of these “good cops” should simply back each other up. At last count they were 90-95% of the force. Shouldn’t be an issue.

But I want to know how or will the general public figure out a way to get to the police unions? That's the issue. Plain and simple.
I was exposed to who police were before I even turned 10 years old.. when I lived in Sunset Park a neighbor was driving a motorcycle and was being chased down the block by cops.. it was summer.. When the cops finally caught him a white irish/italian 20 something year old.. they beat the sh*T out of him in front of his house and when his mom came out to stop them they slapped her up.. my dad grabbed his revolver and was going to go over to do something until my mom physically stopped him. The family ended up suing and settling. But as a kid I learned you just don't **** with cops because they can and make no mistake they will get away with anything.
So what's the solution? Seems an impossible one.
