Hoffa is attention whoring and trying to coerce gullible dumb GMs into doing his dirty work for him by overbidding for Rose, Wall, Harris, etc. (basically any player the Raps target because he is petrified of missing the playoffs to us again).

My plan is rock solid. No matter which way free agency unfolds the Raptors will be able to round out a potent bench.

PG is the most heavily stocked position in the league and the position with the most free agent options. For any team to bid anywhere near $100 on Rose would be wasting their time and resources.
