correct I think that is the meeting ground...but ainge so far hasn't budged off his asking price...its ainge negotiation ploy you come up to me...but no one has 4 unprotected picks to offer so there is no threat to the knicks only Ainge "keeping" him which is highly unlikely because of all the risks that come with keeping him throughout the year.

We own the pick of one of the teams Ainge is trying to leverage us with (WAS).

I'm not sure where Danny thinks he can take this that it hasn't already gone.

Perhaps the Lakers can screw the Knicks over and trade for Simmons? That's the only possibility I see. Lebron could be desperate and force the Lakers into giving 1-2 unprotected picks for Simmons and then a 3 team trade where Mitchell ends up on the Nets?

That would be the nightmare situation for the Knicks.

what are the nets offering the Jazz? All there picks and swaps belong to Houston

Ben Simmons would have to be flipped in a 3 way or re-routed to add in more pieces. Curry, Harris, Thomas could all be flipped if it came down to it.

Nets almost dealt Claxton to Toronto for a 1st round pick but backed out and we’ve also engaged teams for a 1st for Cam Thomas this summer.

Not remotely out of possibility to acquire assets for another deal.

So Mitchell didn't request a trade but has top destinations, doesn't anyone else find that odd, why have top destinations if you arent demanding a trade..makes no sense
