TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Utah Jazz have agreed to trade DeMar DeRozan, Taurean Prince and Ricky Rubio to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for Mikal Bridges, Grayson Allen, Aaron Holiday, a 2023 1st round draft pick (From Sacramento*) and a 2023 2nd round draft pick (From the Clippers).

*- After the pick swap is met. Utah will now whichever pick is worse between Sacramento and San Antonio.

Nah. I value Embiid slightly more, so when that offer was on the table (Zion+pieces for Embiid), I wasn’t sold on all the pieces. I’m actually a huge fan of Claxton (This statement doesn’t mean I’m gonna trade him haha). Zion+Claxton for Embiid works for me! Especially on those contracts

Gotcha the contracts I def see. I do see some risk with Zion's health at that price of Embiid but we shall see what happens down the road.

And I do like Claxton probably will be one the best defensive bigs in BAF next year.

great move for Indy...Mikal and Allen are solid pieces but def are overpriced for there impact. DD is older but is having another really good year so at least he will get another really high rating year from DD.

Will def need to figure out that defense with Trae and DD though.

I agree about the defense. I am not sure switch is going to work now. And yes. DD should have another great season in BAF next year.

Things changed when I got the Williams pairing plus Jordan. A scoring SG/SF became something I wanted over a center.

Grayson is so underrated. I think it is because no one likes his personality/dirty play reputation. He is shooting .493 FG% and .492 3PT% in BAF. He is a better defender than Kennard and easily took his spot as a primary shooter for my Pacers.

Mikal is a baller and was the glue guy for my defense. Anyone who came after him seriously, knows I was not parting ways with him easily.

I like the trade but I got a lot older. Its win now and next year; then forever hold my peace.

BTW: My office is still open
