I doubt it. They need wing prospects & Dadiet was just a FRP. Even with that WSH FRP likely to turn into two high SRPs, that’s a strong return that may already be an overpay…especially given how badly Ainge usually does on his role player trades.


A Utah fan on the trade board suggesting that the Jazz will be happy to get the Knicks up too Dadiet + WSH FRP:

Utah still asking for two firsts for Kessler sounds like a team that doesnt want to mive him, or that is trying to get Dadiet and the Washington 1st as one is technically a first, and the other was a first..

That team would be an absolute nightmare to play against.

Not being as convinced that Kolek is Brunson 2.0 as some, I worry about the non-Brunson creation lol. But yeah, that team should be a real pain in the ass for anyone over 7 games.

If I'm looking for more center depth it's going to be in the stretch mold with two way skills, Jock Landale is the guy who seems like a good target and won't be costly to get. No more of these rim runners...once Mitch is gone, the Knicks should be done with that type of player.

Just scour the league for back ups that have this 'unicorn'(shot blocking and 3 point shot) skill set but aren't starter quality. Also take a chance on some unproven young prospects in that mold, eventually one of them hits and then you got a rotational player at a cheap salary which fills this mold.

Isn’t OG more of a 3/4 and Bridges a 2/3? Albeit both very flexible wings that can guard many positions. OG looks bigger, though only an inch taller. And Bridges looks like he is going to be staggered to the bench a lot.

I think that is inaccurate. He might be more cost-efficient, but Sexton is so much better and more productive overall while also playing hard on both ends. In that deal you give a cheap guard and get a cheap center. The more expensive guard you get back is playoff material (and worth his contract), the center you give away is an injury concern on the other hand.

It doesn't make any sense, so usually in that case, I would say it isn't close to being true.

As iHart has shown, it usually comes down to money. To pass up on 45 extra million over the course of a contract seems unlikely.

OG could have went to the Sixers or others. I think his pricetag is related to the Sixers ready to throw the bag than the Knicks getting an all-star caliber player in Bridges.

And at some point, we have to consider not everyone acts like a 13 year old and gets upset so easily, whether it be from contract negotiations or trade rumors.

OG liked NYC enough and was okay with all the extras that go along with it (good and bad) to be willing to stay if the Knicks threw him the bag and they did. I don't think it's all that complicated.
