He outplayed RJ in the playoffs and is still the better player. Putting up great numbers on a winning team.

Betting sites have us at 3rd best odds to win the championship behind the Celtics and Thunder at +1000. And then a large gap from 4-6 at +1600 for the nuggets mavericks and suns. So despite the “no chance to win” proclamation smart money sees it very differently. The odds of advancing past the 2nd round are obviously even better.

meanwhile the worst team in the nba only has a 14% chance to get a top pick and a 47.9% chance to get the 5 pick and odds only get worse and worse from there. Then say the 14% lands. You get the #1 pick and that pick has a 38% chance to be an all-nba player and 10% chance to win finals mvp. You see Joe, the numbers don’t lie. And they spell disaster for someone who would give up the 3rd best odds at an nba championship to feed a gambling addiction

YOU CALLED THIS THE FIGHT THREAD! I WANT TO SEE SOME FIGHTS!!!!!!!

This is just becoming a Julius Randle unappreciation thread with a few other random back and forths mixed in. This doesn't come close to the level of toxicity that could be found in a single thread on this board previously. This is like KAT and Mikal on the Knicks still losing in the 2nd round. I expected more.

Sometimes in life you have to buck up and be the change you want to see.

also, correlation doesn't always equal causality.

IHart getting exposed one again by Myles turner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love to see it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Turner going 4/13 for 12 points in a loss and scoring one basket on iHart after he spent a lot of time guarding Siakam or playing zone was a good time for you to post this random tweet talking about iHart's defense and claim he was exposed by Turner again? :D

Rather have Hunter by far. Outplayed rj in the playoffs already, and is playing winning basketball, unlike RJ who’s leading Toronto to a top pick to draft their rj replacement.

Toronto journalists wrote a hit piece on him and it’s ugly  glad us ball knowers were right about him and Leon didn’t listen to the barbz and built the team around him.
The biggest issues for Barrett lie on the defensive end, and there are many. Though his strength and 6-foot-7 frame allow him to hold his own in one-on-one matchups, his lack of lateral quickness negates that length and strength on the perimeter. As a result, Barrett is porous at the point of attack.

Off the ball, he's even worse. Barrett can often be caught ball-watching and generally losing track of his man or defensive assignment, allowing cutting opponents too many easy baskets. He dies on screens, jogs back in transition, and doesn't make enough defensive plays to make up for any of it. Other than Barrett's solid defensive rebounding, his contributions on that end are minimal.

Well he already has. He outplayed RJ already in the playoffs.

You tell me if this is winning basketball.

Like flat earthers using this logic only makes them angrier. Hardcore Tankers want to trade Brunson and Towns so we have the best odds of drafting a player as good as Brunson or #1 pick Towns.

Well Barrett has at least been far better than Hunter across the box score throughout their careers as Hunter has received criticism particularly for his lack of contributions other than scoring some. He’s been one-dimensional despite the terrific physical tools. You cannot say that about Barrett who has elevated his game even more and is averaging 23.7 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 6.1 apg.

Now tbf Hunter has obviously been pretty good off the bench, but your claim that he has outplayed Barrett in the playoffs (where it was actually Trae Young and our very own Julius Randle who beat the Knicks) is nonsense (edit:or rather irrelevant. Hunter couldn’t win with that Toronto squad either). Hunter has never outplayed anyone up until this season and RJ is not only more talented but also easily the more complete player as well as building block.

I don’t even think you are serious and I get what you’re trying to stir up, but come on man…

Not sure if you’re serious or in denial but hunter absolutely outplayed RJ. RJ was garbage in that series and was one of the reasons why we lost. Hunter actually plays on both ends which RJ plays zero defense.

Now tell me, what about this screams winning basketball to you? You really think ball watching and jogging on defense is winning basketball?

Hey wingo, going through a hard time right now. That’s why I haven’t been active much. I posted this the other day
My fellow bredren I'm alive. Someone really close to me passed away that's why I've been away. Not because of KAT/Randle or any dumb reason like that. I was way more attached to Melo than Randle but people think Ima run away mid season when I never left after we traded Melo. also major props to KAT for doing his thing against Minny. That game kinda closed the chapter on randle for me. Not our problem anymore but hoping he is able to figure it out over there. Also nice to see we bullied Mikal into playing like Middleton lite 8-)

It's pretty wild that people think I ran away cause I didn't post for like 4 days lmao. trolls tryna dunk on me is crazy when they was mad quiet when we started winning so much after we traded their boy RJ and they couldn't admit they was wrong about him after trolling the board for years (still wont admit it) and I'm still waiting for us to regret trading trash ass Obi

I'll be around but won't be posting as much. Knicks might be turning a corner so I hope we continue this. And shout out to thibs!

Oh no. Melo, I'm so sorry. Damn, it was so coincidental. Sorry all the shyt you caught over the Randle-KAT game when you were in so much pain. Please accept my condolences for you loss.

Yeah, we trolled you good. But it's only because we love you. You have to know that.

Be well and take time to grieve. It's a long process but the good news is that it eventually becomes easier to deal with the pain.

Thank you, I appreciate you very much
