He doesn't set a proper hard pick.
Once a player blows past him or drives to the paint he doesn't even try to recover and contest the shot. He just stands there

-8 in 15 minutes. team is down 19. Do the math (I'll help, team is -11 in the 9 minutes he didn't play)

Mitch just came back and Mike Brown trying to get this team in the same page. We just need to get some momentum going and a few games with the same lineup. At least, he’s playing the bench.

Give him a fair chance with 20 games.

Perhaps you shouldn’t be subbing players in and out every other dead ball so they can ACTUALLY get on the same page.

What’s ironic is Mike Brown is doing what the fans complained about us not doing last year. Play the bench and shoot more 3s

This is what yall wanted

There’s levels to it
He’s subbing the players TOO damn much
Every dead ball he’s brining someone else in

Whereas thibs only played 6 players
This dood running 9 or 10

We all want to see the bench play
But not 3 minutes into the game; he immediately takes out Mitch then KAT

I still don’t think Thibs would lead us to a chip. But Brown is the extreme opposite

Why couldn’t the Knicks have just kept Thibs and hired an offensive coordinator man….

Yes I'm seeing this. Great talent but doesn't seem to.fit well.We can even play our 2 best players together. Hope we can adapt

Yeah I was hoping brown would fix the kat/brunson duo... but the quotes this summer from kat and not seeing any improvement so far is vv concerning.

Getting the most out of a flawed roster does not mean you’re a championship coach.

Thibs will never win an nba title as a head coach for a reason.

2 things can be true: Thibs is a good coach but not champ material and Mike Brown sucks.

i mean if shamet hit a couple of his 3's they hit there FT's and brunson made a couple shots he usually makes they would be over 60 pts

they gave up 72 pts...I don't even know if its anything schematically that I can tell right now...they just are really lazy and getting beat off the initial action way to easy.

It’s insane

He’s the exact opposite of Thibs

He subs every dead ball
How tf are they supposed to catch a rhythm??

It’s experimentation bro. Just one more different line up. It’s going to eventually click. Just one more different line up. It’s surely gonna work next time.

Shamet came in for deuce. Then sat. Then came back in right away. All in a span of a minute
Brown is doing way too much

Same thing with OG. Harts been awful and when he pulled Kat, He also pulled OG for hart. He’s just doing stuff that makes no sense.

I don’t think anyone on this roster respects Mike Brown. That’s the biggest problem of all.

if dolan really wanted to fire thibs he should've waited until there was a really good coach available. leon clearly had no plan to fire him. this was dolan forcing this and now we have to settle with a way worse coach.

unless you're gonna slow it down and give him the ball and allow him time to operate this is what it's gonna look like

We slowed the game down against Milwaukee and gave him 4 straight entire possessions to operate and Kyle kuzma shut him down

Towns works best off a quick decision. Quick 3, quick pump fake and blow by. Giving towns times to operate is almost as bad as giving OG time to operate. They ain’t Julius

yeah posting up KAT or iso'ing him in a slow down usually leads to bad decisions and turnovers. He's best either a quick trigger 3 or trailer 3 and then attacking hard close outs.

Right there he proves our point. Need more of that but I feel like his quad been holding back that attack game

Sacreligious as it may be, Knicks were my 2nd team recently because I love Thibs. I still really like the Knicks squad. I wish they would have kept Thibs personally. Hopefully Brown can turn it around.

I'm basically saying I think they will figure out the offense...they aren't going to shoot this bad all season...they sucked shooting to start last year too...

the defensive effort simply is unacceptable...at least in the 1st half...lets see if they get into the bulls bodies to start this half.
