No, but feel free to visit the trade thread. Foolish trades that have no chance of happening are commonplace there.

i would do that trade if they took out the 1st round pick. i didn't know the knicks even had one.

i think flynn still has a chance to make a small career, hell look at jack this season.

knicks would get a solid, but not elite 4, and martin would provide the solid, consistent 2 the knicks desperately need. dragic has shown some sign of ability this year as well.

that being said, HOU would not trade their two best players for a guy that's struggling right now. knicks would have to probably give up shump too

It will only be a matter of time until Adrian Wojnarowski writes an article about it. I'm surprised no one has yet. It's such an easy one to garner views.

Its funny because I just said to a lady friend that yahoo will begin looking for dirt on us now.

unfortunately you're right. if he's becoming a locker room problem, you have to trade him.

i would actually be really sad if amare left. as piss poor as he's been this season, what he did last season will stay in my head for a long time

Honestly, it might not be a bad thing for him and Melo to get heated with each other a bit. Stop pussyfooting around and figure out what's going on...

Confused by your post. If who took out the first? I would think you mean Houston but then you said you didn't know the Knicks had one.

Either way this is not the worst trade for us. Not happening though.

oh my bad. i read that wrong. so NYK would be getting their pick back? i don't see that happening. i think the knicks would have to give up more, and HOU would not give up that pick

Really? Relating the Melo trade and the attention given to him when joining the squad to Stats poor play? The "I'm coming home" video? You're grasping for straws here....

How about we call Stat's performance what it is for what it is, and not relate everything back to the Melo trade so we can talk about how we wish he would have "stood up for the young guys more" .. Stat's playing like **** and that's his problem.... That actually gives him too much credit, he's playing like **** which isn't letting him even play due to foul trouble...Get it right or ship him off... I don't care how much "attention" we gave Melo, what are we 10 years old?

 C'mon man. You have to admit that it's fun watching it snowball. One dude states the theory and the others fabricate scenarios based upon said theory.

Gotta agree with Knicker23. Amar'e is a grown ass man who WANTED this trade to go down.

Remember this video????

"I brought in Brooklyn's own, Carmelo Anthony, okay?"

So everything you see related to Amar'e's poor play has to do with Amar'e.

It would be awesome to have a more mature and consistent player such as Deron Williams here. We should trade Amare for Deron Williams. Then, championship!

All these guys have egos like you wouldn't believe. Remember Shaq/Kobe? Pippin sitting out because the last play was called for Kukoc? Isiah freezing out MJ? Countless players taking the season off to wait for a trade? Our beloved Spree turning down a HUGE contract because it wouldn't feed his family? Ewing v Checketts? Are these all conspiracies or, could it be, that ego management or lack thereof actually plays a part in this league. That bruised egos actually affect most of these guys' play (as they do with most professions).

You're not going to find a guy where these things are not prevalent. Working with the flaws is a part of being a good manager.

Id cream my pants if dwill came. My favorite player and ive been pushing for him for a long time, often being the only here that wants him here.

That being said, a trade with HOU isnt that farfetched. Scola and martin are having years like amare. If you involve iman and jerome jordan, i think thatd be a decent trade for both. Thats all if amare cant get out of this slump and change his mentality

I don't think Amar'e has been playing poorly because he's upset Melo came to NY.

Amare has been terrible because he doesn't have a PG.

That's it. He can't create for himself.

Once we get Baron back Amare will be okay (hopefully).

Probably the most encouraging thing I saw from attending today's game was Phil Weber's 15 minute pre-game workout with Baron Davis.

How did Baron look?

He looked like an NBA point guard swishing nearly all of his jumpers. I was way upstairs in the new 100 section  so it wasn't the best view. But he looked sharp. Weber kind of stole the show. He really gets into those pregame shootarounds.
