Or maybe Chandler has been playing injured?
Brewer still hobbled?
Amar'e shaking off rust?
Felton playing injured earlier?
Melo playing injured or not playing?
Novak and Kidd shooting slump?
Yeah we are a fluke team

chuckin 3's won't get the team anywhere, they need to go inside.

okc didn't play defense in the first, nobody was scoring off the bench/outside the expected scorers, and the nets hit open shots. in the second half, okc came back but turnovers killed them. perfect storm i guess

Nets are better than their record. They can be the 3rd or 4th best in the East if they are focused.

he's been balling this year. Happy for the guy. He's never played on a team with a winning record since he came into the league. Finally he'll get a shot at some playoff glory.

Steph Curry is playing exactly how everyone thought he would play when healthy. He is absolutely killing it this year.

Love the Warriors. Happy for David Lee. Still really wish he was here instead of Amare.

Seems Deron Wiliams doesn't blame his woes on injuries either.....

http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/nets/grade_point_average_Xw7yyEYWqZZJ9dzjgcGmGP

“But I think it’s more mental than my actual wrist being hurt.”

Williams said he’s thinking too much in the wake of all of those missed shots. Instead of just going out on the floor and doing what he knows he’s capable of, he’s analyzing every play as it happens.

“I’m just overthinking,” Williams said. “I’ve never been a player that can go out there and play and think ... I just react. Now, it’s like I come off [a screen] and I’m thinking, ‘Should I shoot this? Should I not?’

“I’m just ... I’m just not playing the way I should be. That’s all I mean. It’s not injuries. It’s just in my head, and I’ve got to get it out.”

And then he said this after last nights game...

Deron Williams had one of his best games of the season in the Brooklyn Nets' 110-93 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

He scored 19 points, dished out 13 assists and had a season-high five steals.

"I felt a little bit better today," Williams said. "I got really warmed up in here in the training room and came out and felt good, and just really tried to push the ball."

Williams did, however, miss seven of his 12 field-goal attempts.

Regardless, (and btw an athlete will tend to not blame poor play on injuries) what I see is a guy who looks a step slow and doesn't have the normal lift in his game when going to the basket or shooting jumpers and who is slated to have surgery in the off-season.

Being fat is not an injury (it's difficult to get a your "normal" lift when you're 50 lbs overweight).

The surgery he should be having is gastric bypass.
