Dam just can't get into this show anymore I used to really like it but there were so many crap episodes over the last two years that I won't watch till the end of the season so I can skip around. It's too bad this had breaking bad potential .

They are starting to take themselves too seriously, but the writing isn't very good and it doesn't hold up.

Exactly. The newish women, Tara, Sasha, Rosita do not really bring anything to the table. Gabe and Noah are just pathetic.

I'd like to add that there are also no distinct personalities anymore. Even Glenn, who used to be funny, is just another humorless jaded ahole like Rick, Daryl, Abraham etc. Michonne showed a little potential when she bonded with Carl butthat looks to be all but forgotten.

They must have no budget whatsoever despite the ridiculous ratings. Really just disappointed that they can get away with putting out garbage. GoT has lulls in the action as well but the dialogue is fantastic this show on the other hand...,

This was one of the worst episodes in the series. It's better when they interact with living characters that they don't trust. The comic is the same way in that regard. Let them get into human conflict. There are ways to handle emotion without having them walk 60 miles and just dealing with non-sense.

I know it's going to get better because I read the comic, but it's gotta move faster.

I think people are getting too impatient, it's been a long time since we didn't see the whole group together, they're still recovering from the loss of Beth and Tyrese.

There were some good moments, Rick's "We're the Walking Dead" monologue, the religious undertones, Daryl giving up to his emotions, the final music box motif.

Learn to appreciate the subtleties and you will enjoy The Walking Dead, not everything has to be killing zombies or a human conflict.

I think most people have an issue with the overall quality of the show. The writing is bad, the plot seems random and disjointed, it seems to be made on a shoestring budget despite their ratings. We are frustrated that nothing happens because the dialogue doesnt carry the show. They have no excuse for this, channel also made Breaking Bad and go look at Better Call Saul. Instead of improving the show they focus on marketing and trying to build a sports-like fanbase the entire thing seems to be a cash grab. I looked this up the other day and they are using directors with little experience and writers on the cheap. Yeah you can search for the bright side but if you are watching tv and find yourself having to do this then its bad tv (for you) imho. I had the same feeling listening to the Yeezus album telling myself I liked the first 11 seconds of a song lol.

This past episode was really bad. Glad I'm not the only one who thought so. Also, please kill off Sasha.

Maybe she's already a zombie, but with no real teeth she can't inflict any damage.

I actually appreciated the slow down in this episode because it gives them time to mourn. I thought seeing Daryl break down was touching and the preacher giving up his collar after Maggie checked him. I think the writers do not know where to properly place Noah amongst the group. I thought he would be Tyrese apprentice, but with Tyrese biting the dust it seems that he has no friends.

Overall I enjoyed it and with the introduction of the guy who if I am correct is going to change the fortunes of the group these next few weeks should be interesting. I don't expect a home run every episode so I'm content with this single.

Yeah, it was not full of action, but I liked the episode. They killed off Beth and Tyrese the last two shows. They needed a slow down, catch your breath show. It wasn't great, but I liked a bunch of scenes in the episode and it finally put them on a path with the character at the end which will put more life and action into the end of this season. I thought it was an average-good transition episode.

Not exactly, both BB and BCS are produced by Sony, AMC has the rights to air those shows, when they tried to get involved in the making of BB, the showrunner Vince Gilligan threatened to leave the network and take the show to HBO or Showtime. There are similar stories of conflicts with the producers of Mad Men.

She should be if not soon. She should be nearing one years old.
