Teams do that if they don't have good history from certain country and those players they selected haven;t done well they black list them from that team. I give you example my football team is the carolina panthers i will say about 10 years we selected couple guys from usc trojans team, those wide reciever kerry colber and dwayne jarret were bust picks, ever since that time the carolina panthers never select anybody from usc trojans. The panthers never go send there scouts to usc because they don't have a good track record because of there bad history selecting picks from that team, is it the right thing do probably not but when you have bad history it comes back to haunt you.

Also lets face it the knicks organization doesn't have a good history with international players there either good players with bad attitudes kanter ,kp or there a disaster selection willy gomez, and frank nitkinia.

So you're telling me, that if Zion Williamson was born in France, you wouldn't draft him.

I would select zion even if he was from france but certain teams that don't have a good history with international players probably wouldn't it makes you think if you had few bust picks.

We aren't picking another kid from france sorry sekou the knicks don't have good track record with players from france frank and weis. Perry and especially mills there are very unlikely to pick player from france knowing the knicks track record they been fooled to many times.

Ever since 2010 marty hurney general managers of panthers he said it radio interview here in charlotte only select them if 7 round pick or un drafted free agent players from usc. The only pick usc trojans that have been selected done well that general manager marty hurney was offensive line matt khalli.

My slick answer is that it depends on the team. I might go Doncic for my BAF team, for example.

Non-slick answer is that in a vacuum I would go Zion. The violence in his game I think gives a better overall impact.

If you're basing it off what Doncic was able to accomplish... I think it's close but I'd still go with Zion. Now based on if both had 0 experience and all we had to go on was Doncic's euro play vs Zion's collegiate career??? I don't see how it's close - just my opinion.

Doncic because he’s already proven himself in the NBA and how well his game translates and Zion hasn’t yet so I’m going with the sure thing. It’s pretty close though.

I'm going Zion. For the simple fact dude is a major impact on both sides of the ball. And Doncic's weight/body at such a young age scares me more than Zion's weight/injury concerns.

Agree than Zion is the best big man prospect since AD (probably overall as well). But I’m trying to think of the last wing player that was as dynamic as Luka. His IQ and talent is off the charts.
