They honestly did not need him. All they needed was Harrison Barnes to make a couple jump shots. And I’m being deadass. KD was just overkill.

B2b Fmvps was not needed... lol people are so blinded by their irrational hate and hot takes it is comical lmfao.

A 1 game sample size vs Houston was a clear indicator he wasnt needed..ok there hahaha.

This is so true. I want him on the Knicks of course but it would be his actual power move if he stayed on the Warriors despite all that dumb chatter. It's nonsense.

Despite this, I see KD as being a great player, but really, he was never the best fit there. He does make them stronger, but he changes them, too. I think the team is happy when they're without him.

I'm not certain why Kanter didn't play more... how could they possibly think his defense is poor and his offense very limited? He was getting double doubles, man.

And the question of the day: is there any other reason to have GS besides the fact that they keep winning? There's nothing really horrible about how they play. It's not like they all flop like Harden. Of course, I hate them for winning too much. But is there any other reason?

I think KD playing on GS is following the law of diminishing returns. You can have too much of a good thing.

And I haven't liked GS mostly because of Draymond Green. He's been an arrogant dude the past couple of years and it has rubbed off on a lot of his teammates. However, this postseason, I have respected how he's played.

That seems about right. I disliked his groin kicks and his JR-style character, but when he's "on," he's very effective. So let's hope GS feels they can do well without KD and they all wish him luck playing for the Knicks. I mean, if they want a really good legacy for their team, they have to want a really strong opponent. So I just know they're mostly thinking about what's best for the Knicks about now.

Irrational hate? Son I went all the way to Oakland a few months ago for the sole purpose to see the Warriors in Oracle arena for the 1st and last time.

Warriors with depth and a above average SF would’ve won the Finals against the Cavs the last 2 yrs. And again, if Harrison Barnes simply performed at an average level in the finals during the 73 win season, they would’ve won again.

I’m not denying KD isn’t a great player. He’s a hall of famer and was worthy enough to win finals mvp. Take him off those teams and I believe gsw still wins and Steph wins those finals mvps instead. Or Klay. Or Dray. Cause they are that good of a team.

Taking KD off and replacing his salary with let’s say a 17 million dollar SF, with a 10m C or 7th man, and a 3m vet min type of player. They still get it done.

Yeah they could. But why would they?

It's a bull sentiment. He's a normal basketball player and person. He makes them better. He was a free agent and choose the best team+location+system when he was free to do so. They are worse without him so they wanted him. Everything that's being said beyond should be considered bitching around. Hey no offense, but it's not a valid point. He makes them better, he's a regular NBA player on a market value contract.

We are debating two different things. No one is blaming the Warriors for signing him. It's the other way around.

On my very 1st post about this, I said KD with GSW was overkill. So it is obvious with him they are so good with him there is no competition. So yes I know they are better with him.

My argument is without him they are still more than capable of winning the championship. Which is a true statement. And is the reason why KD has recieved the slander that he's recieved for joining that team. KD is not a normal basketball player, he's the elite of the elite. And is the reason why people like myself were upset and disappointed with his decision.

As fans of basketball we are disappointed that KD took the easy route. And it's that simple. KD has his reasons and he rightly probably doesnt give a fuc* about our opinions. But the negative comments about that decision will always be there whether he likes it or not.

yeah. i don't know if they'll get swept for sure, but it doesn't appear like either will be much competition.
