If the Nets can pull this off, good for them. That will be a good team especially for a team that wants multiple ball handlers on the court.

wow, a max for Middleton or Harris would be disgusting...I wouldn’t be comfortable with giving either of them a max at all...I’d much rather take a chance on Kyrie than settling for them

Middleton isn’t a #2, and Tobias Harris is just a less talented Melo who’s also not a #2

Middleton is a more enticing option if we already have both KD and AD

agreed. i max neither just to do it. only if i have KD in the fold and need help do either make sense. though, i'm high on both of them. middleton is underrated IMO because he game isn't flashy. he produces at an all-star level. and tobias is reeeeally good and still pretty young. dude's getting better every season.

but neither would be focal points. just win-now window signings i could live with.

Seeing how i called it many many months in advance, and rumors of KD and Kyrie didnt start coming about til this season, then yes...Yes i am. But i made The Kyrie call in the WInter of last season. I made the KD call Summer of this past offseason. Things can change, but no secret they have been linked to the Knicks way after i had said something.

I think brooklyn has little edge because of trajon langdon new gm of pelican got recently hired, and he also assistant gm for the nets and has lot of friends in the nets front office.
