1/ GSW forced Luka left a lot on the pnr

2/ DAL offense really sucks. they didn't even care to run the ball up the court in secondary transition. Its always rebound, pass the ball to Luka who walks it up. Sorry its not 1995 anymore, you need to be able to push the ball up even if the defending team isn't going for offensive rebounds. I cant tell you how many times there would be a defensive rebound by DAL, and they would actually pass the ball backwards to Luka.

that is not winning basketball. there are absolutely 2-3-4-5 possessions a game where if u push the ball up in secondary transition it leads to an easy layup. DAL isn't even looking for it.

3/ Watching those videos + the KP ones I linked I think its really clear that KP is having a very hard time getting knee bend and getting into a good defensive stance. Maybe its the injuries, maybe because of his height, hes put way too much weight onto his upper body and not lower. His footwork and foot speed is drastically different than when he was with the Knicks. The biggest thing I see is he looks so much more uncoordinated and cant squat down into a good defensive stance. I really think his legs are shot.

that is the elephant in the room for the Mavs organization.

Maybe KP is neglecting the defensive side because he wants to come back to the Knicks, but he's following in LeBron's footsteps and only wants to come back when he has great teammates to come back to.

So he's tanking for the Knicks so they can get a top player this year and he can announce his glorious return to the Knicks in a couple of years. Or maybe he'll demand we trade the pick and Quickley for Kawhi before he comes back.

I'm just thinking outside the box.

This is what most announce teams do. We are just used to our guys who are at best neutral and oftentimes act like homers for the opponent
