We drafted Obi to be a scorer and a finisher though.

We also have our best player at his position and we have a bigger need at PG.

Thibs isn't going to run an offense like Kerr. He wants creation off dribble drive.

Obi Toppin is not a scorer. Just because the dude beat up on smaller players in the A-10 does not make him a scorer. A person with no go to move, could never be classified as a scorer.

Calling Obi a Scorer, is like calling Derrick Williams a Scorer.

This is what I am getting at but people only see 24PPG.

Lets be honest, people dont want to wait on their own to develop. Im not trading RJ and I dont like people throwing Obi under the bus like he was supposed to do anything as Randles backup. Ranlde became all NBA 2nd team and MIP. How is that Obi's fault? Didnt even get minutes at Center.

Stating to wonder if the deal will be centered around both draft picks. Knicks turn around absorb some contract to gain another first rounder to pick up their guy

Randle was fools wood before this year, coaching goes far and so far sexton's had booty cheeks for coaches

You can't fake efficiency. It's not about the PPG. It's about how efficiently he scores the basketball. Every team needs efficient scorers. He does everything this team lacks even if he's not a classic PG at a very young age with plenty of room to improve. An older Julius Randle made an enormous jump in efficiency and playmaking under Thibs but a player 4 years his junior can't? :lol:
