I'm fine with the offseason, even if we don't add another player after Brunson.
That should leave enough minutes for Grimes and IQ.

I agree with Knicks selling us just Brunson and giving young players a floor general. There's still that Randle factor.

-He's good Mitch insurance
-Pretty Skilled offensively (averaged 4.7 assists per 36 minutes)
-High "stocks" guy
- Maybe has some potential to shoot it? Has good percentages from 3 on very low volume

I like the signing in a vacuum because he has the makings of a long term starting center, but signing him with Mitch would be committing over 20 million (based on assumed prices) to centers and obviously would block Sims playing time this year.. At least Hartenstein is young as well

Wait... how much are you expecting him to get in this market?

I've been against giving up a decent amount of cap space to the 5 spot if you're just a rim runner with no offensive skills (Mitch and Noel). I can get behind Isiah as a backup and might start to show some perimeter skills.

That guy was Murray and we didn't want to pay the price. Its probably going to need to be Grimes and maybe D.Mitch if we pull it off (6'10 wingspan). Grimes can play that role at least to a point. Also lets not forget RJ can play at the 2 as well.

Small forward is kind of our thin spot.

And I am thankful we didn't make the trade for Murray. A non-playoff team trading unprotected future 1sts has high disaster potential. We finally win the lotto and Spurs take our pick.

with Fournier and Rose still on the team. Highly doubtful.

IQ, Grimes, Reddish, and Obi right now are playing small bench roles and one of them probably isn't even in the rotation currently.

Anything with Nets getting Ayton is just media attention mongering. Nets got shyt to give unless they’re willing to trade Durant.

thanks

it hasn't been discussed. he's just saying there is nobody really left to even pivot to. i don't think they would though anyway so you're right about that.

Knicks should look into this guy. He has skills he’s been keeping under wraps with CP3 and Booker running the show.

Collecting draft picks involves making moves

So does trading them away to clear cap space from bad signings. Running in circles is making moves too bad we aren’t going anywhere

I agree. Knicks should have not traded anyone, kept the roster intact. Ok. They could have cut that Ryan A and the other G-League guy to make room for the two picks.
