Ben Simmons would have to be flipped in a 3 way or re-routed to add in more pieces. Curry, Harris, Thomas could all be flipped if it came down to it.

Nets almost dealt Claxton to Toronto for a 1st round pick but backed out and we’ve also engaged teams for a 1st for Cam Thomas this summer.

Not remotely out of possibility to acquire assets for another deal.

none of those players are getting unprotected 1sts though. Those will be of the same ilk of the 4 protected 1sts the knicks have (which the knicks are willing to give up in the deal). That isn't the sticking point...the Jazz want unprotected 1sts and no one you mentioned above will net an unprotected 1sts...unprotected 1sts rarely get moved unless the player is a star.

there isn't even a big market for Ben Simmons either if he did go on the market. How many teams would give up a lucrative package to trade for a guy that is so flaky.

it will be very easy to replace obi, if we keep the mavs pick with the late first we can just draft jacob toppin his jumper is looking smooth in the Bahamas league he will rise to a late first he might end up being the better brother he had 27 pts 6 reb and 5 3 pointers against a tough carleton team a couple weeks ago lets goooooo

Then he needs to request a trade. That’s the one way the Knicks will get some leverage. If he causes a stink and refused to play then maybe it would put pressure on Utah to get things done. But at the end of the day, like KD learned, years on your contract gives the team options.

Brian Westbrook and Julio Jones both suffered lisfranc injuries and had career years after the injury. Hopefully Chet can bounce back but it's pretty unfortunate news for those that were looking forward to watching him play this season.

according to Hahn, the fact this trade and rumors have been so out in the open, a trade is seemingly more unlikely, as he says that most trades go down in darkness when you don't hear any gossip..agree?
