I have no issues with Nabers going to a strip club, let the kid enjoy as long as he's safe. My only small quiver is him posting it to social media. Not everyone needs to know your business. Letting everyone know your business just potentially leads you to more trouble. I know that is a little older in me. I grew up just before social media blew up and times were simpler especially for young kids to do stupid things but being plastered all over social media means things last forever.

Not a Yankees fan but more people should just try to copy what Jeter did...you know he had a lot of fun in NYC but he just made sure cameras weren't around. He's a legend on the field and off for not letting people know what he was doing!

Derek Jeter was the biggest slut in New York and you'd never know otherwise. That man was my boyhood idol for a reason and I didn't realize it til I got older and saw who he was running through

I agree with you about this. It's not even the optics that I care about, there's nothing wrong with partying in a strip club and having fun.

It's the type of attention he's drawing from people with ill intent that you worry about. Folks may not remember this, but I remember when our Steve Smith got robbed right in front of his townhouse, he was being watched and as soon as he got out of his car service someone put a gun to his head. All that posting your location on social media and flashing cash comes with a price that I don't want the kid to pay god forbid. Dudes who have nothing better to do can and will try you if they see you out with bricks of cash on the regular.

Yup, Jeter had one of the most impressive rosters of all time  and growing up you wouldn't have known it.

As far as Nabers...yup agree 100% this specific situation I don't even care about him partying at a strip club but like you mentioned there are dudes with nothing better to do and you post where you are at (at a strip club) likely carrying a decent amount of cash. I feel like there is a potential for things to maybe go wrong. That doesn't mean Nabers is doing anything wrong (which he isn't) its just sometimes you gotta think bigger picture and letting everyone know where you are and what you do seems like it could be a problem down the line...a young millionaire, people will try to take advantage of him ect....

It doesn't have to be your fault but sometimes you have to understand the situation you may put yourself in down the line...

There was a highly likely chance that Jeter "dated" Scarlet Johansson, Jessica Alba, and Vanessa Minnillo (now Lachey) all within the same time period. It speaks for itself.

Yeah at that age you gotta have someone older and respected who will be honest with you about this stuff, because I damn sure remember being 21 years old and I would've done the same thing he just did without thinking twice about it because the bigger picture just didn't exist in my mind at that time.

correct which is kinda why I think kids have to be more careful today...because the "bigger picture" today will last with you forever...whether it was LT in the 80's and 90's or the 80's Mets as another example a lot of young players made stupid decisions but they didn't have social media documenting there every move.

Malik from a small place is Lousiana.

He going to learn real quick about the tri state area. You already got chicks prob texting his photo to the goons. If he gets a rep as partier, the wolves will be out

It's also a technicality, because Andrew Thomas made 2nd team All Pro 2 years ago, but not the Pro Bowl.

i also want to add, this guy is questioning whether or not we need to make sure daniel jones is that guy, when he's 27. here's a list of career highlights and awards per wikipedia on a couple of other guys that are 27 years old. don't forget to peep at daniel jones's career highlights and awards.

People would have had meltdowns if social media existed back when LT, Doc and Daryl were high off that Bolivian powder winning chips

Yep, there's real predators out here. That's why I brought up our Steve Smith. He wasn't even known as a party guy and he ended up getting had. In Clifton of all places.

WR’s always doing the most. I ain’t never seen a lineman (especially OL) out doing all the extra schit the way you see receivers constantly doing it.

yeah but that's just how the NFL works

when you hear your OL is spending their offseason living in a log cabin in the middle of nebraska going on hunting and fishing expeditions with their dogs, you already know that dude is going to be an all-pro

when you hear your WR is always out partying and going to strip clubs, you already know they're going to be an all-pro too

fascinating episode 2

Looks like trading up to #3 was something the Giants did want to explore (even saw some convos with Pats GM about it). Looks like Maye was there target...he looked to be the most impressive in the board work/interview.

Looks like Cristian Watkins was a legit option haden't we not traded for Burns. Also they thought Burns price was going to be a #1 pick plus...then decided to nearly offer two 2's...but the deal ended with a #2 and #5 pick which is great negotiating to get it down that far.

Also Barkley convo with Schoen was depressing...he just seemed uninterested. Now it did look at that point he was bitter the Giants didn't pay what he thought was a fair price to keep him but the Giants did offer contracts. Just looked at that point Barkley wanted a fresh start. Probably best for both parties at that point.

They seemed to really like Odunze but it did seem that Daboll was the highest on Nabers and they may be willing to overlook the "diva" type WR personality that comes with him because he is so ridiculously talented.
