KAT wouldn't be necessarily. Because Julius might be. And with Brunson's clutch gene and dominance establishing him as legitimately a top 5-7 player in the entire NBA: KAT, Randle,OG, even DDV is an extremely strong supporting cast.

It's risky indeed! Could the Nova boys' championship pedigree help Randle/Towns to lift their games in big playoff moments? Not so sure... I'd rather just not get KAT and, instead, use Randle at some point to get a more winning, high IQ player... that's our best shot without all the risk that comes with Towns/Randle.

This is not nearly my Plan A but.....KAT while keeping Randle is a very appealing scenario to me. Best 3 pt shooting big man in the game in KAT . Best defensive Wing player in the game in OG. Best PG in the game in Brunson. Top 4-5 PF in the game in Randle. That's a pretty excellent 4. Add in one of top defensive and rebounding Cs in I-Hart. One of Best rebounding and defensive combo Guard/Forwards in Hart and lastly a super streaky but at times unbelievably good player in Divo and that's a championship contending squad.

Obviously this list is of higher rank to me:

1. Giannis
2. Booker
3. Markenen
4. Donovan Mitchell
5. Bridges

Maybe even DeJounte Murray

However KAT on this team could be a very very interesting fit. You have him surrounded by defenders. His 3 game as a stretch 4/5 might be even better than Kristaps effect on Boston. He complements Brunson perfectly.

Forget about KAT and just trade for Kevin Durant and play him at the Center position.

This is 100% true which is why KD at the 5 would never happen.

KAT with IHart still as the primary defensive guy at 5 and KAT playing minutes at the 4 as well when you have OG, Hart as complementary defensive pieces would likely work on the other hand.

KD playing 3 and 4 while complemented by OG and Hart with I-Hart at the 5 could work as well.
