JALEN ROSE ‏@JalenRose
I hope that the Magic receive more for DH12 when the trade is finalized on Fri #NBA

It does seem like there is a player missing from the deal going to Orlando. Maybe they don't want to tell Gasol on the eve of his big game tomorrow that he's going to Orlando.

Nash wouldn't mind averaging 8-10ppg and 11-12 apg.

He won't be able to defend...at all.

He's never been able to defend...at all. He's got Dwight behind him now.. no biggie.

Somewhere in Charlotte, Ramon Sessions just turned off ESPN and is taking a long look at his Bobcats jersey.

I don't think that's ever an issue - we wanted him.

At the end of the day Steve Nash running the point for the Lakers is much better than Ramon Sessions, regardless of Nash as a defensive liability.

I thought I saw a report somewhere that the Sixers will try Spencer Hawes at PF. Maybe Kenyon Martin decides to go there because he'd get a lot of minutes. That would be a nice fit.

I hate Dolan because Dolan is awful in all facets. It has nothing to do with Jeremy Lin.

Who would have Lin's 3rd year hurt the most? The Knicks? They're capped out anyway. The only person it was hurting was James Dolan's pocket. There was no reason he should not have been on this team other than sheer stupidity or pettiness. Either way, that argument is long gone.

The argument here is that the Knicks once had the cache of the Lakers (ofcourse, not even close to them but more respectable than what they have now) before Dolan came around and buried it all. They were able to lure great coaches and players to their team and built championship ballclubs. Now? After 10 years of incompetence, no player is putting their career and chances of a title in the hands of James Dolan. Jerry Buss is a proven winner. Dolan is not. If the Knicks had Dr. Buss we would be the ones making these moves. Alas, here we are with our Felton's and Kidd's.

Buss has been great. They have never made a move to set them back for years. They do a great job of continuing winning. Dwight will carry the torch when Kobe is gone. Tremendous job by the Lakers.

But I could bash the Celtics pre-Garnett, the Sixers, the Bucks, Clippers, Nets.

The Knicks have fell real low. But Im not gonna take an opportunity to bash the Knicks cause the Lakers to another supertsar center from them.

But its a forum to express frustration so go ahead. But the post-Lin era on this board is crazy.

Why do you keep referencing Lin? The Knicks haven't been a good team in forever. Were you only a Knick fan during Linsanity?

Kobe may guard the PG's like he did before, Artest is still a physical defender.

You also can make up for Nash's bad defense with Dwight Howard in the middle and Gasol is not bad of a shot-blocker also.

Redvines you are really sounding desperate. nash has always been a lawnchair on the defensive end and we still wanted him.

Who does Nash guard, Westbrook or Harden or Durant? He will be serviceable for now but he'll fall off soon enough and it will be a big issue.

They're definitely an interesting team to watch now. I don't think anybody can really predict how the second-tier Eastern Conference teams will shake out. This move puts Philly in the same conversation as us, Boston, Indy, and I guess NJ-BK.

My guess is Philly makes another move to unload Hawes and/or Young for a viable PF.

Tommy Beer ‏@TommyBeer
So L.A. has the only player to ever win 3 straight DPOY awards, and a PG who is 1 of 2 PG's who've ever won 2 straight MVPs. Oh, and Kobe

I thought the Sixers did great to get an elite center in Bynum while replacing Iggy with Richardson. Whatever defense the Sixers lost in Iggy, they gain in interior defense.

We didn't want him long-term, that's the whole point--small window for the Lakers with this group.

You can build around Dwight after Nash/ Kobe
