MUCH better offensive player and not quite the defender on a day to day basis.

I'll respond to that Jremi post in here since the game thread got locked, I'd say we have to agree to disagree because I don't think Ilyasova is a particulary weak defender. I'd love to see what he could do with a pass first point guard, instead of two combo scoring guards.

agreed. ilyasova is a good team defender and is good at taking charges. nyk_fatboy is just wrong in stating he's overpaid.

That doesn't make any sense... Why would Miami be punished by getting a 4th seed rather than a lesser 6th seed? I could be wrong but wouldn't it be 1 vs. 6 and 2 vs. 4...?

Wonder what kind of point guard the Bucks could have got for Jennings at the deadline? Thats the key for them now, if they're gonna keep Ellis, they need a pass first guard to work with Ellis and Ilyasova.

Thunder up by 13 over Indiana! Rooting for OKC while rooting against Durant is wild

Knicks on the verge of being up 1.9 on Indiana for that two seed with only 7 games remaining!

I think he's solid too (how much is he getting paid?). Otherwise I wouldn't have proposed that Lin + Robinson/(insert houston pf) for Jennings + Ilyasova trade.

Edit: @Bran I was thinking maybe Lin, but I'm not sure houston does that straight up.

Refs have to rig games for Miami even when they're playing the Bobcats.

About 8 mill a year. 13 and 7 on 45% from for the season, 20 and 10 since new coach/all star break.

Yeah if I were the Bucks I would have tried to work a deal for Calderon or Vasquez.

Especially considering he's only what, 25? And what do guys like Ryan Anderson get paid? Around 10 mill isn't it?

Rudy Gay with an efficient game. A lot of people seem to pick on him because of his contract, but that's not 100% his fault, it takes two to tango right? He seems like a decent guy with a good attitude. Maybe he'll have more games like this so people will stop making fun of his contract.
