I still feel we are in this.

But I also feel that by the time I finish typing this he’ll be a Laker.

Nothing outside of Tatum beats our #1 pick unprotected.
And if it weren’t for the flattened odds, not even him.
Everything else, prospect and relief wise is a push.
I believe this leak is for us to up our offer.

I cannot believe Kuz/Ingram/Ball is that far from Knox/Frank/Mitch if we are talking upside. And their picks are superteam picks. Our picks come from current lotto teams. Just sayin’....
He’s the guy.
Get AD.

Pick, Mitch, Frank.
And yes, I’m giving up Knox or DSJ to not take Hill.

It’s not about AD who’s a top five player in the league, it’s about closing with the two on the fence guys this Summer.

It’s a team befitting of New York. Scotty ain’t never had an ownership and platform like we have here.

I don’t mind the kids one bit, but this is kinda like Kevin Garnett all over again.

We’d stop talking about KP tomorrow.

Tbh, Kuzma has been playing better than Tatum this season.
Also, outside of Zion, RJ & maybe RA....we sure any of the other prospects are locks to be better than Kuzma or Ball? What if our picks falls to 5 in worst case scenario?
This is why we can’t jump in on this until we know our draft position.

Knicks aren't in it if he gets dealt by Thursday... Our best chance was Porzingis. Once he was dealt we basically said we'll call LA's bluff that they can get this done by this Thursday and honestly it isn't the worst thing in the world for us if he goes to the Lakers. They're out of our conference that way and also if they have to take back Hill, then they can't sign Kyrie or KD anyway. I think worst case scenario would be the Clippers or obviously Celtics over us in the offseason....

Lakers would have about 25/26M in cap space after stretching Solomon Hill.

Personally think that’s enough for Kemba or Jimmy Butler.
Don’t think Kyrie leaves money on table AND declines to play in NY, especially if KD is here.

Maybe the Knicks weren't willing to give up the farm while the Lakers will.

I'm guessing they're willing to punt on Kyrie/KD with AD already in place. Obviously they're probably trying to haggle their way out of taking on Hill but push comes to shove they'll probably deal with it. They probably think that Kemba or Butler/Bron/AD is enough if KD leaves GS anyway.

If we loose out on AD, we get the chance of going for two max contracts + top5 pick, which is potentially much better (Zion+KD+KYrie), but could be disastrous (Kemba+Harris+bust). Anyway it is not a bad position. It took me a few days, but I am getting over KD.

Sounds like the Lakers are giving up the farm for a year and a half of AD.

So they want a third star?

lakers know they need to pull the trigger before it goes to offseason and their offer can/will be beat. knicks wise not to chase right now.

LaVar lives. Kind of funny to see Lebron get the best of him so easily.

If I were the Knicks I would had KP and the crew for both Davis and Jrue

Jrue / Ntilikina
Knox / Trier
Durant / Dotson
Davis / Zion
Robinson / Vonleh

It's only what, 2 million more?

I think we can safely eat that

As much as I like Frank, if it's straight up him for Lonzo, that's a good deal for us. Just think it's an awkward fit with DSJ, but eh f*ck it

Randolph isn't reliable at all though

You trade Mudiay and a 2nd for Bamba

Keep Frank to play with Kyrie and Durant

I know it's not going to happen, but Lonzo/Lavar could in theory break the CBA .. and I would really enjoy that. He's already been paid $18m. Just say no to NO. And let the trade deal where the "superstatrs" try to run the league, twist in the wind.

I would give up Knox/Frank/DSJr and this year's first if it could mean we can have a Big 3 of Kyrie/Durant/Davis, or even Jrue/Durant/Davis

We lost th opportunity to land both Jrue and Davis with the KP trade, unless they want cap space and picks
