I would snap trade Randle for the GSW 6th pick and matching salary. But again the league doesn't see Randle as that valuable despite some of the people on this boards perception. Any lower than 6 or so and I'd expect an asset along with the pick.

This has been my issue from jump. Yeah Randle and RJ **** the bed, but Thibs coaching did not help them. His general reluctance to make adjustments did not put his players in the best position to win.

To be fair, there really isn't much that Thibs could do. Rose showed 2.5 games into that Hawks series that he can't start and play major minutes. Burks isn't a PG. IQ isn't a PG...especially when it comes to distribution and setting up teammates. Payton is Payton and Frank is Frank. The only other guy on the roster that could possibly have played point is Jared Harper.

The reality is that the Knicks were severely limited from the talent standpoint and it was a miracle that they even managed to win 41 games in the regular season. That's why Thibs won COY after all, cause the talent on the Knicks team was just attrocious and got exposed in the playoffs by the surging Hawks.

But yeah I think folks are getting carried away with what the Knicks should have been able to do this season. Talent wise they are a top 3 lottery team.

Yea, we would probably get 60cents to the dollar in a Randle trade so he is most likely not going anywhere...Out of everyone I would say he has the greatest chance of coming back.

I'm assuming he verified the source and its true Randle was asking for the ball at different spots and told no

Even lacking talent the lack of adjustments and experimentation was bad and falls on Thibs. I'm not saying what you are saying isn't true. We werent the most talented team. However, these guys weren't looking for mismatches. If Hunter is giving Randle problems the plan should have been to get him shots vs other guys on the court. That is the definition of playoff basketball.

I call a little bit of BS here. I agree that once in the series he was limited, BUT ... This is because of Thibs obsession with winning every regular season game by grinding Julius and RJ 38+ minutes a **** game.

IF he had managed the roster, benched the obviously awful Payton a month earlier he could have gotten some evaluation and game time for I.Q. at starter, or Frank at starter. Maybe they would have sucked, but you'd at least have evaluated them and gotten them some run. It was obvious to everyone on Earth who could fire 2 neurons except Thibs and Perry that Payton was a terrible player, a terrible fit and has no future here.

Thibs is an awful in game coach, terrible at roster and player management. He's a floor raising motivator and looks great following up the absolute dumpster level coaches we've had the past 4 years, but overall he's awful.

I bet if RJ was a celtic or any other team not named the knicks, you wouldnt be so determined to label rowan a bust.

I don’t get why you guys keep trashing our own players, from Randle to Rj heck you guys even kill coy thibs!!!!!!

Rj and Randle are legit cornerstone building blocks with room to grow!!!!

From where we came from as a franchise to where we are now, we should be more appreciative!!!!!!!

We have an extremely bright future and yet all I hear around here pessimism and doubt!!!!!!

It just seems like you guys love to be miserable!!!!

I didn't say he's a bust. He's good. Tatum is excellent, therefore better.

I've been one of Thibs biggest supporters all year.

Unlike you, who will throw him under the bus in a minute.

But I'm all for bashing him, just to annoy the likes of you.

Should have hired Kenny. Better at hair and development.
