the draft should move fast now...

Its the middle of the draft ( 10 - 20 or so ) that usually has the biggest swings. Bey is a solid example. Scouts loved his shooting and size; but knocked his athleticism. He final mocks had him going anywhere from late lottery to late twenties.

I think Detroit stole him a 19 and will never understand why the Mavericks passed on him for Josh Green.

So I figured when I was at 2. Assuming kuminga and Barnes would go off 5 and 6. I moved back into this draft at 7 to nab Bouk.

Now I know Green is Green And maybe one day I do regret passing up on him but I thought get my guy Suggs then get a player that kinda resembles a lot of what Green can do was my plan.

If the reports are there that he is rising because he's shooting lights out he's probably the second best 3 level scorer in the draft.

Yeah, I had Green ranked higher than Mobley, but not that much higher

Imo, it was close enough to where fit mattered, and Mobley fit much better

Plus, I don't think the sim is a big fan of small ball. If this were real life, I probably take Green, but the fact it's the sim pushed Mobley just ahead of him.

I mean I never said Suggs and Bouknight were bad picks. Green is just one of the best shooting guard prospects in the past couple of years and Kuminga got some Kawhi in him. I was shocked they fell.

Green is one thing. I don't think kuminga fell at all. Most have him 5 or 6 depending on your appitite for Barnes (which I know you aren't a fan of). But kuminga in the top 3 would be cosnider a shocker at this point.

He has the size and balls skills to be special but his shooting in the bubble was horrible and his defense has a lot of improving to do to even be talked about in the same sentence as kawhi.

But taking a stab at kuminga makes perfect sense because of his potential.

That's ultimately what makes the draft so fun. 3 people could be watching the same guy and come away with 3 different opinions.

Not an exact science and I don't get paid to scout. But I just got to go with what I see.

I don't think the gap between green and Bouk is that far off in terms of putting the ball in the basket. Which is both there calling cards. It's ultimately why I made the call go go Suggs there.

never realized that there is an exorbitant amount of trash talk Will Smith does towards the alien when he first encounters it.

i am hoping for that level of **** talk to take place during this whole draft part, including the decision(s) i make.
