Maybe we could reroute Fox to a 3rd team for a better fit.

This is not saying much.

Fox can't shoot and we have enough guys who are erratic. He's best served as a complimentary piece on another team, not being put into a position where he has to carry the team.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Young Rose had success under Thibs. He couldn't shoot that great either

He's not a basketball player so much as a thief standing on the floor for 40 minutes a night so his kid can get an autograph from actual stars after the game. Leon f*cked up big time giving him that money.

Let's not use Randle as the standard bearer for how a teammate should behave. Also, Melo had his own selfishness about him too. He was unwilling to adjust his game when asked by management on more than one occasion. We had one winning season in all of the years he was here. Please.

EDIT: I will put some respect on Melo's name right here.

Once we trade Randle by the deadline or summer, Melo will come back on a 1 year deal to backup Obi. Can’t wait.

Yeah, sure.

Anyone who compared Julius’s skillset to Melos is down right embarrassing. The only thing worse are the fans who didn’t realize just how good Melo was when he was surrounded by utter trash. Randle is the biggest phony alive. He’s a snitch rat bastard.

Knicks fans have a long history of being wrong on alot of things. I don't know if other fan base is the same or just Knicks fans here on realgm. I remember espn didn't rank Carmelo as one of the top 15 players and Knicks fans here were so offended. But the ranking was actually corrected. Carmelo started his decline right at that time. Alot of Knicks fans were also upset that Knicks weren't ranked one of the top east 4 teams at the beginning of the season. We all knew how that went. Last year you weren't allowed to say anything bad about thibs or randle. This year, they can't wait to get them both off the team.

He even outplayed AD in that game. As a Randle fan I wish we had that version of him back. But unfortunately I think he needs a change of scenery

I just don’t know what changed? Maybe the pressure of being asked to be the man is too much for him? That’s the only thing I can think of.. nothing else makes sense.

It was Melo himself who publicly stated his offense at not being called a Top 15 player. He was no longer in his prime and was no longer a Top 15 player so it was Melo being vain by saying he wasn't happy about the truth. Sure, some of his supporters took his side, but that was to be expected.

It could be a very different lineup with him though with the potential for pace and more north-south action instead of the offensive squalor we have now. It is not always the guy who can drill threes who makes an offense perk up. Don't know if Fox is that guy, but he might be

These guys are human. There's so many things that can be going on in his head, in his personal life, in the locker room.... it's impossible to call it right now. All we know is something changed, and something is wrong. I really do feel for Julius right now despite wanting him traded. He was incredible last year, and he always brought the proper mindset and attitude. It's sad to see him crumble.

I agree 100% but it’s now next level toxic. I was here going back and forth with people after the thumbs down occurred at how stupid people were to get offended, and want to trade him, but it’s escalated to the point it’s clear they have to trade him. :nonono:

Last year’s team is going to be remembered fondly like the 54 win team…

It wasn't just some supporters. It was the majority of the posters here who thought the ranking was typical medias hate/bias against the Knicks.
