Maybe we could reroute Fox to a 3rd team for a better fit.

Fox can't shoot and we have enough guys who are erratic. He's best served as a complimentary piece on another team, not being put into a position where he has to carry the team.

He's not a basketball player so much as a thief standing on the floor for 40 minutes a night so his kid can get an autograph from actual stars after the game. Leon f*cked up big time giving him that money.
Let's not use Randle as the standard bearer for how a teammate should behave. Also, Melo had his own selfishness about him too. He was unwilling to adjust his game when asked by management on more than one occasion. We had one winning season in all of the years he was here. Please.

EDIT: I will put some respect on Melo's name right here.
Once we trade Randle by the deadline or summer, Melo will come back on a 1 year deal to backup Obi. Can’t wait.

He even outplayed AD in that game. As a Randle fan I wish we had that version of him back. But unfortunately I think he needs a change of scenery

Knicks fans have a long history of being wrong on alot of things. I don't know if other fan base is the same or just Knicks fans here on realgm. I remember espn didn't rank Carmelo as one of the top 15 players and Knicks fans here were so offended. But the ranking was actually corrected. Carmelo started his decline right at that time. Alot of Knicks fans were also upset that Knicks weren't ranked one of the top east 4 teams at the beginning of the season. We all knew how that went. Last year you weren't allowed to say anything bad about thibs or randle. This year, they can't wait to get them both off the team.

I just don’t know what changed? Maybe the pressure of being asked to be the man is too much for him? That’s the only thing I can think of.. nothing else makes sense.

These guys are human. There's so many things that can be going on in his head, in his personal life, in the locker room.... it's impossible to call it right now. All we know is something changed, and something is wrong. I really do feel for Julius right now despite wanting him traded. He was incredible last year, and he always brought the proper mindset and attitude. It's sad to see him crumble.

It was Melo himself who publicly stated his offense at not being called a Top 15 player. He was no longer in his prime and was no longer a Top 15 player so it was Melo being vain by saying he wasn't happy about the truth. Sure, some of his supporters took his side, but that was to be expected.
