This is crazy. The Mavericks aren't trading AD after just trading Doncic for him. He's there for the forseeable future.

They might not now but i wouldn’t rule it out completely. Kyrie’s injury pretty much puts them out of contention this year. And they now have a route to rebuild around Cooper. It wouldn’t shock me if they traded AD by the trade deadline to rebuild

Not necessarily true. The move could have been easily made to get Flagg while AD becomes a trade asset to acquire picks for a rebuild.

Kyrie was healthy when Doncic was traded. There was no way they could've known they'd be bad enough to get Flagg.

they expected to have like a 3 year window but the 1st year was hampered by injuries. next year is too. so that means they're gonna have a 1 year window ? kyrie will be 34 the season after next and he's due for a new contract. a 34 old that relies on speed after a torn acl and probably asking for the max ? they should be tearing it down.

Maybe they should be, but I don't think they will. The optics would probably just get Nico fired for real. He made his bed here and needs to sell this AD stuff.
