This is crazy. The Mavericks aren't trading AD after just trading Doncic for him. He's there for the forseeable future.

Almost every move/hire has worked out for Leon besides the Kemba/Fournier signings, even with Fournier he had the most 3pt in Knicks history in one season so its arguable. All his front office hires from Perrin, Aller etc have worked out, almost every trade has been a win from the derrick rose to the towns trade. The front office is one of the msot creative, cba bending front offices in the league. Yet majority of the fan base is questioning a man that has finally led this franchise back. Let the guy make his move and hire his next coach, history shows more than likely hes going to make the right decision. He's had the gut to make difficult moves like trading donte, firing thibs etc. He deserves patience and trust.

damn, with your new avatar, you could say all sorts of weird crap and I'd blame it on melo. You should use your new power more aggressively.

So basically we running it back with a worse coach. Oh well.

It could easily be misinformation. Dont believe everything that is said for what is said publicly is not always a true reflection of what is intended privately.

They might not now but i wouldn’t rule it out completely. Kyrie’s injury pretty much puts them out of contention this year. And they now have a route to rebuild around Cooper. It wouldn’t shock me if they traded AD by the trade deadline to rebuild

Not necessarily true. The move could have been easily made to get Flagg while AD becomes a trade asset to acquire picks for a rebuild.

plus they owe picks in the future but not for next summer. they could draft another good piece next june and in a competitive west it would be easy for them to tank to a really bad record without ad.

Kyrie was healthy when Doncic was traded. There was no way they could've known they'd be bad enough to get Flagg.

Yeah, I miss Katz. This dude sucks. Send him back to the Pistons.

He lost me when he made a video about why the Knicks won't come back from a 3-1 deficit vs the Pacers. I mean, yeah they probably won't but just be neutral and report tidibits, man.

katz did opinion stuff all the time. it was just well received and generally trusted. edwards is a new face and clearly not a knick fan. if anything, he's more neutral.

and i strongly prefer reading katz to edwards.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

they expected to have like a 3 year window but the 1st year was hampered by injuries. next year is too. so that means they're gonna have a 1 year window ? kyrie will be 34 the season after next and he's due for a new contract. a 34 old that relies on speed after a torn acl and probably asking for the max ? they should be tearing it down.

It’s starting to feel like the same old Knicks tbh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big name hunting instead of going after the young innovative type of coach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like my dream target is Chris Quinn but I know there’s no way Leon would even attempt to go after him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s really disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe they should be, but I don't think they will. The optics would probably just get Nico fired for real. He made his bed here and needs to sell this AD stuff.

Relax!!!!!!!!

They haven't even made a move yet...outside of firing a guy they thought they couldn't win a championship with.

nico is probably already on the hot seat after the reaction to this trade. the new owners didn't hire him, cuban did. maybe they'll make this decision.

I don’t understand the panic. We’re already up and trending even further.

Addition by subtraction move so far, no more disgruntled players, happy fanbase, FO n owner… let em cook
