the SPurs Trade PF/C Amir Johnson to the Knicks for PG/SG/SF Shaun livingston.

i really wanted to add a Guard and while value wise it may look a bit bad but factor in livingston on the expiring contract and it actually is better for my team so it gives Rivers a chance to Learn to be a PG. IMo i can easily replace the Production Of Amir with Josh, who can possibley bring some Outside shooting to our Backup Unit or even Play Claver there to stretch the team out a bit.

The New York Knicks agree to this deal. With Teague and Blake getting most of the PG minutes, it left me having to move Livingston to the SG position which wasn't ideal for him on my squad.

With this move, I have further enhanced my front court defense.

Hope it wasn't coming across that I was laughing at your team, I was laughing at your post while the "get Durant a SG" was a separate statement.

I know you don't need Wade, just get someone to help take the scoring load off him, a great compliment to him, a shooter, slasher, or defensive player.

I think you should start Seraphin, I see him as Nene (which was his draft comparison and so far he's shown to be that 14/7/1blk) so your interior is straight imo, or at least better off than your SG spot.

And no Hinrich ain't solving that lol but he wouldn't be a bad fit :)

Btw @kneega or moocow,

I traded and extra player to the Clippers so I am 1 short whereas the Clippers should have 1 extra player.

Do I need to pick an extra player AFTER everyone has 15 players (if they choose) and does the extra player the Clippers received in the trade reduce the number of FA selections they get?

Double post:

Really diggin' that Bobcats team, if they get a closer look out! If Granger plays horrible again, look out!

That Pacers team is gonna be tough but I see them as having 2 yrs tops as a considerably high level threat, after that, it's a wrap.

Yes on both counts. You can pick your 15th Sunday at 8. The Clippers GM can only have 15 players max at any time.

lol i wasn't seeing as a shot at my team, but i wasn't sure about it. this is all in good fun, especially with newera (one of the few guys, like me, that is not taking this too seriously).

was thinking of starting seraphin. i think he'll be the next nene. but camby is that veteran presence. i have really good interior defense (apparently some people don't know basketball; aka who camby or seraphin are ). and i'm not the best teacher NY has to offer, but 1.8 bpg rounds up to 2 bpg for seraphin :D.

was contemplating it, but i like him coming off the bench for EITHER boozer or camby, depending on whether defense or offense if needed.

it's all good. and i'm STILL waiting on hinrich!

Not if you're matched up with me as it stands.

Gasol & Hibbert vs. Bosh & Chandler is a wash

However, Jason Thompson and DJ White really do not have much on Udonis Haslem, Amir Johnson, and Lou Amundson, so I have you beat there.

In terms of swingmen, I've got enough talent with Teague, Allen, Gee, Dudley to give you plenty of trouble against Nash, Manu, Wright, and Metta. Even my "scrubs" in Steve Blake, Raja Bell and Jannero Pargo have plenty of game left to battle against your guys.

Between the Pacers and the Knicks, it's really too close of call as to who honestly has a better team.

yeah, i see bobcats as one of the better teams in about 3+ years

not so much now. but who the hell knows. all i know is that he might be a tough match in the ECSF for newera. but it's you and i in the finals!

@br7,

I'd somehow try to get Sam Dam @ C and @ SG maybe start Roy then sub Green in @ the 7min mark of the 1st Q's, that way you still Roy saved for the rest of the game.

Could even start Peaches, he's a defensive SG who can hit the 3, just has questionable IQ at times that's all.

well with durant, he's never had balanced scoring. it's always been just him, harden, and westbrook (all guards).

i don't need a super strong SG because i have a strong PG, SF, and PF. and green is a nice, complement at SG.

so i have durant dominating, conley who can distribute but is a play making PG. green who is a spot up shooter. and boozer is a strong low post presence (something durant has never had, but finally does). i'm happy with ma team
