Can they make the ECF without Rondo?

Rondo gives them another dimension in fastbreaks and is also another guy who can create his own shot. But he does hurt their half court offense, specifically for Pierce.

The east is weak this year as well, might be weaker than ever, so I guess by your logic they should make the finals since they're better without Rondo.

If Chi, Ind and the Knicks are healthy, then it's a lot stronger than last year.

If they are better as you believe, then the "if" scenarios dont matter.

Denver is a team perfectly setup to tear the Bulls apart. They move the ball well and that's the way to expose the gimmick defense.

Lawson better have a good game, he's the only player the Bulls would have no answer for, and they need to push the tempo.

Denver isn't gonna guard them much at all.

It's not only Lawson. Both the middle and the weakside are constantly exposed. Denver is too well coached. They have been cold to start, but they're getting great shots.

The will tear this gimmick defense apart.

So Rondo cares more about stats than team success?

He is a player who told the Doctors to hurry up and pop his elbow back in so he could play in the playoffs, played on a torn ACL in 2 OTs and the end of the 4th quarter to try and get a win, but he is more concerned about his stats?

How about the reality of the situation?

Players who were missing shots earlier in the season are now hitting them. Players who were not getting minutes/touches are getting more. Players who were unfamiliar with the defensive system are now understanding it.

More ball movement sounds great, but the shots are still the same. This time they are going in.

You're right. I was a bit conservative. Probably 30+.
