Bill Simmons is more entertaining as a writer. Listening to him with Magic and Wilbon however is torture. Wilbon especially sucks.

(1) Miami vs. (8) Milwaukee. Heat win.

(3) Indiana vs. (6) Chicago. Chicago wins.
(4) Nets vs. (5) Hawks. Brooklyn wins.

Which sets up a...

(1) Miami vs. (6) Chicago.
(2) New York vs. (4) Brooklyn.

Boston and Brooklyn as a possible road to the Eastern Conference finals? Or maybe even Boston and Atlanta (if ATL knocks off Brooklyn) I'd take that in stride while being able to avoid Indiana during the 2nd round (If Chicago were to eliminate Indy with Rose).

It's supposed to be...

(1) Miami vs. (4) Brooklyn.
(2) New York vs. (6) Chicago.

That doesn't make any sense... Why would Miami be punished by getting a 4th seed rather than a lesser 6th seed? I could be wrong but wouldn't it be 1 vs. 6 and 2 vs. 4...?

Nah man, it's not re-shuffled everytime an upset happens...

The winner of 1-8 ALWAYS goes to face winner of 4-5 in second round
The winner of 2-7 ALWAYS goes to face winner of 3-6 in second round

I've never been big into Western Conference basketball just too stuck in my own Eastern Conference ways but I've never been able to stand the Lakers franchise but for some reason (this season) I've found myself pulling for the Lakers like I never thought I would. My only explanation would be because of Kobe Bryant and over the years, I've never been able to stand Kobe either. But as the years have gone on I guess it's safe to say he's the closest thing that I've seen to Michael Jordan since MJ23 himself. Pure greatness. I not only hated Jordan throughout the 90's, respected him as the greatest of all-time (and still do) but also feared him like none other. And I guess with Bryant, I'm just now starting to appreciate his greatness. Never had a reason to pull against him so it never made sense now looking back.

He can realistically pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the All-Time leading scorer in 3.7 years if he continues his yearly average of 1,850 points per season. At the age of only 34, he could end up shattering it. The only thing that can possibly keep Bryant from going down in history is health/injury because at the age of only 34? He's on the verge...

Thanks for the updates. Been a while since we've advanced so I've forgot the feeling and still learning as a fan. I like the sound of that with Atlanta being the current 6 seed. May not happen but at least I'll have something to pull for outside of Knicks vs. (potentially) Boston. I'll be pulling for Atlanta to knock off Indiana like never before. Not scared of Rose but I don't want Chicago as the 6 seed. I want Chicago going head to head with Miami come the 2nd round. Would drool over a (2) Knicks vs. (6) Hawks matchup...

Thanks for the info.

I <3 Lin, even when Harden done made him Derek Fisher... such a great leader, doesn't care if he pisses off his teammates by getting in their faces, keep pushing them as long as it makes them give 110% effort. He understands they're the youngest team in the L, someone has to step up and be the douche who pushes everybody that everyone can't stand. To get the most out of every one of them. Harden is the best player, but Lin is the rock and leader of this team.

He also absolutely understands spacing, why it's necessary.

I wish we deal for Lin this summer... :(

Conley :(

Still think he's one of the better guards in the league (maybe top 10 even).

LOL @ Portland fans hoping for free tacos.

Edit: Apparently it was Chalupas (for scoring 100 pts).

If we signed Lin long term could we keep our own talents such as J.R Smith, Steve Novak while later re-signing Iman Shumpert? Not a living chance in hell. Is this where we congratulate Houston for going from 34-32 as a 9th seed with Goran Dragic, Luis Scola and Kevin Martin to 42-33 as a 7th seed with Jeremy Lin, James Harden and Omer Asik? Well, then congratulate to Hosuton?

The trio of Lin, Harden and Asik are due a combined $84,430,948 over the next three years when compared to the trio of Dragic, Martin and Scola who combine for $48,939,675 over the next three years. I'm sorry, but Houston should've shown a lot more improvement this year when compared to last year. They've actually underachieved with all that big offseason spending.

It's also weird how New York and OKC haven't missed a single beat without the likes of Jeremy Lin and James Harden. Both teams in New York and Oklahoma City have actually improved their records ten fold without those guys... Funny how that works.

You don't think OKC's gonna miss Harden in the playoffs?

Underachieved? They're one of the youngest teams in the NBA and everyone projected them to be lottery this season, even with Harden. They had no training camp, almost all the players on that team now weren't on it when the season started.

Huh, what a ridiculous point to make. Suns are the one of the worst teams in the NBA and the Rockets are 6th seed in the Western Conference. Underachieved ? In what world ? Most people weren't even expecting then to make the playoffs even after Harden was added.

 @ Lillard. Did anyone catch that fake move Lin put on him. Goodness gracious.

Lillard's had a very nice rookie season though. Not sure if the Blazers should be playing him over 40 minutes if the team is mathematically eliminated from the playoffs though...
