I really see some special things with Willy Herny. I could see him growing rapidly. Just knows how to play. Big, finesse. A couple of minor Tim Duncan attributes there.

I also don't think Willy's D is far off. The PNR maybe -- that is hard for anyone to get, let alone a young player. But he may catch up there a tad, and overall he doesn't seem good but I sense he is maybe not that far off from catching up and at least helping and keeping his man reasonably in check. Good passers usually have some defensive timing, because it's all about having an awareness of who's on the floor. Kevin Love doesn't fit this rule.

He seems to have this court sense and passing ability, and he also stays in constant motion. Constant motion + big body = good things happen.

I suspect you're right that his evident sense of positioning and mobility on offense can be applied to his defense. He should get better on D it would seem.
